There is still a big gap between how much Adi has to grow to see Imlie beyond the labels he initially assigned to her and where he is currently in his emotional state about her.....New eyes wala phase as you said....we the audience could see it since way back but Adi has had no such cognition....even Imlie has gotten a build up to emotion sickness in bits and pieces while he hasn't.

The issue though also is that Adi as a personality doesn't do gradual very well😆....he just suppresses a lot and then things hit him like a bolt of lightening....this is what happened with the gunshot track too.....will he even take the time to go through his evolving feelings for Imlie or will it just hit him like a bolt from the blue what she has become for him? That is what we are waiting to see.

I think the trickiest part is that they have to show a balance between his bonding increasing with Imlie and him slowly pulling back from Malini....but they aren't really doing that given how he jumps back and forth in excessive guilt-trip driven PDA....so is sab mein kahaan se hoga introspection about what Imlie has come to mean to him and how Malini is not the center of his world as he claimed? 😆.....which is what makes the bolt from the blue angle a probability as well. Adi only realizes things when they hit him like a ton of bricks....not gradually😆.

*Edit: And yes, there is also the angle of the WEIGHT of a 7 year relationship....logically speaking koi bhi is baat ko process nahin kar paayega ki someone you've known for just a few months is now more important to you than a 7 year relationship.....toh Adi will definitely struggle with that too and this is why it seems hard for him to back off from Malini at this point....which is why whatever he realizes for Imlie will likely not rise to the level to make him question his feelings for Malini yet :S

I totally agree that Aditya is impulsive and it will be a bolt of lighting realization. I just feel that the time now is not right. The reason I am saying that is because lets says he goes the love route and gets Imlie back but then what will happen after he see Malini. He is going to go in this guilt mode, do a 360 degree turn and take himself away from Imlie, in turn hurting her. On the other side, if he knows that he has deeper feelings for Imlie but is still continuing with Malini, then that is totally not right too. It was Ok, till now because Imlie was aware of his feelings for Malini and had accepted it whereas Aditya was unaware of his own. If after realizing, he still hiding the truth, then it totally against his "follow the path of truth" ideology. Plus, he will be wrong and Malini will get the sympathy card because she will totally be in the dark. Remember that trust convo, the end was Aditya should tell her when she should stopped trusting him. I feel the end of this track should be that....i.e. whenever Aditya realizes be it now or later it should follow with telling Malini or at least try to (because that going to be another drama).

LOL that is what it seems like....he will likely think ki family ko nahin bataa sakta, they will ask to come along to see Imlie toh main khud hi chala jaata hoon aur baat kar lunga Imlie se😆

This again reminds me of yesterday's scene when he came home to find his whole family ready to leave for PD😆....koi regular show hota toh they would have done zoom zoom heavy reaction shots on Adi's face after hearing his family want to go to PD....lol but sab kuch itna natural flow mein hua with the way he was like, "Koi nahin jaayega PD"😆.....without any OTT dramatic reactions, the effect still came through why Adi doesn't want them to go to PD😆.

I think we will see a groveling Aditya after he brings back Imlie. Right now, his immediate issue is Imlie not being home and he has to resolve that before he can start understanding the repercussion of his current actions or behavior. Once she is back and everything is perfect in this world and he has calm down, he will realize how much he has hurt Malini especially by not going to honeymoon and that would be the reason for him to go to guilt/grovel mode. The only difference this time hopefully would be Imlie and his time at PD will keep popping in his head.

@Bold: The way he came out and told and "Don't be a professor, I am not your student",🤣 ... It was "dil ko sukoon" moment because if its come out at this moment and in this way that means subconsciously he has been thinking about it 😆

LOL Prakash appearance seems so random. But I feel he is here for long time, otherwise they could have brought in a random character, but Prakash is Satyakam's son and Imlie's BFF, he is both for a solid reason.

Malini is a fixture in Adi-Imlie's lives from day one.....so even if Prakash has 18 years with Imlie, Adi-Malini ka 7 years jaap will still trump that given how Malini is a central character dumped in every scene😆

No, I was talking about a time where Adi is ready to forgo his 7 saal ka pyaar for Imlie and is possessive and jealous regarding her friendship with Prakash, that is when Imlie would start her 18 years friendship

I can buy that Adi may not meet Prakash in PD but it will be a stretch for me to believe that he will mistake "Pari" to be a girl😆....they can't stretch that MU for so long that he only learns Pari is a guy later in the city😆. LOL Imlie might not mention "Pari" to Adi directly, it could be, he hearing bits and pieces of convos of Imlie with random T family members regarding her friend Pari, where Adi would even be happy for Imlie to get such a caring friend only to realize Pari is a man😆.

My money is still on Adi meeting Prakash in PD first....but Prakash may become a recurring character later on in Delhi also......given Babusahib ki current state, the opportunity is too good for him to be shown another guy in Imlie's life😆.....but let's see what we get.

Yes possible, Prakash's presence might practically make Adi to drag Imlie to Delhi, only to have Prakash land up there in her college.🤪

Haan I don't disagree with that either that timing-wise he can't realize love right now....and if I may, I never said he will realize love either😆.....I just said he may have a big realization regarding his feelings for Imlie.....usko label kya dega, remains to be seen.

As I said in my previous posts also, the fundamental tricky issue remains ki Adi consciously realizing his feelings for Imlie will then make it difficult to show his marriage with Malini in a "normal" way....right now he gets a pass in many ways cuz he has taken a clear stand that he only loves Malini and only considers her his wife....but if he starts to realize he feels anything for Imlie, the next obvious question will always be - then what about Malini? And how Adi handles that will decide the next phase for his character.....they may do the usual angle of him TRYING to talk to Malini and then backing off when as usual she gets some anxiety attack....then yet another cycle of endless guilt😆....but at the minimum, he should then begin to back off from PDA with Malini or it will look worse for his character to be simultaneously professing love for both ladies.

One more possibility could be with them showing an Adi struggling with his feelings for Imlie and maybe consoling himself ki there is no future there toh main yeh sab kya soch raha hoon, best to stick to Malini😆.

Basically the writers love looping back to the status quo many times....lol so all our theories need to allow for that possibility😆

Aditya said twice during his Malini flare-up - if someone wants to leave this house and go forever, they can. Malini has such blinders on that she only saw his gussa but did not glean the fact that he knows Imlie has left and is not returning. While Aditya has been wrong in continuing the charade from the beginning, red flags have been stuck into the ground everywhere in the house from then itself for everyone to see. Malini is so terrified of finding something not to her liking that she does not want to broach anything with her own husband. If she gets a jhatka when the truth comes out, she will be partly responsible too.

Also, how is it that no one, absolutely no one sees Aditya enduring pain? His father happened to notice only because he heard him yell at Malini. Aditya has been walking around hurt, physically toh tha hi, but he was teetering on the brink emotionally to the point of being dangerous when it concerns Imlie and everyone wanted to go to PD? Or do they see it and do not want to bring it up with him because he might snap at them?

Whereas Imlie glances at his face once and knows he does not want to go to the mandi.

Or....as Malini told Aparna, it seems like Adi is looking for reasons to fight with her and not let her understand him😛😆. Aise toh we all thought the class difference issue was a big deal too cuz he burst out with it during multiple arguments with Malini....but baad mein sab rafaa kar diya na Adi ne ki maine bas gusse mein bolaa, I didn't mean it😆.

LOL groveling Adi is a default so woh toh jab bhi hona hai ho jaayega....but hopefully the writers/GM/director will take care to add some nuance to Adi ki groveling in front of Malini so that it's not the same level of oblivious as it has been before this phase of Adi struggling with missing Imlie. If they don't add that nuance, Adi will just look bipolar again acting like he can normally romance Malini without any guilt, and all these episodes of his introspection will be rendered moot. They need to be careful with how they show those scenes.
