We strayed away from the topic, remember? I was dumbstruck by your opinion about how it's okay for Shahid to marry Mira but Priyanka has married a kid and Kareena is married to a senior citizen.

So, my response is related to that. The equality that I talk about is in contrast to your double standards that you display in your opinion.

ya you sure strayed away bringing in all that equality bs.😉 I was only responding to the person who said that KKK and PC were better off with chota nawab and jonas. 😂

anyway, what you need to do is make an apples to apples comparison, when it comes to chota nawab and shahid. Chota nawab is short and old and fugly like hell. Bad apple all the way 😉😂

The statement alone cannot be taken in vacuum. It may not be this offensive as is, but is being said by shahid who has certain patterns.

Arranged marriage, vegetarianism, dating and dumping actresses but wants a house wife. Marrying a 21yr old and a girl 13 years younger. Meeting a 21 year old girl and finds her "mature". Not to forget the people he dates become vegetarians by choice.

None of his traits/choices are bad by themselves but one person cannot have so many questionable attributes as coincidence. It is icky and he would not be looked upon with respect. His wife's puppy comments make their viewpoint clear about working women. They are certainly allowed their choice and public is also allowed to not view them with respect. To quote PC all this seems "gandi baat".

About madhuri/anushka/juhi - they did not marry young people without much life experience.

If this statement were made by someone like Abhishek or Ranveer or Arjun, I would have had no problems.

There is a history of problematic pattern from Shahid, and a statement such as the one he made in the video, just doesn't sound right. Which is why I am not giving him the benefit of doubt.

Mira never got the opportunity to become her own person unlike PC and KK. From her parents' daughter, she became Shahid's wife, with no individuality of her own.

It's still concerning, IMO.
