@bold: I also feel the same, Mayuri. He definitely started feeling some kind of connection to Imlie in PD even before they were forced into marriage. And this all ties back to the point Fary was making earlier in this thread regarding masks....Adi has lived a kind of masked existence for a long time, especially vis a vis Malini.....the kind of person that he's been in his relationship with her is not the real Adi....it's been a convenient facade that has carried their convenient relationship for 7 years....a relationship in which they never really communicated honestly, a relationship where he always put his work above his love, a relationship which frankly never really got tested into understanding the meaning of being true partners.

Then came the whirlwind called Imlie and literally knocked him off his feet😆....and the mask came flying off in PD....so yes, the bond was forming since that point only but the forced marriage did two things - it both deepened as well as fractured that bond in some ways. The interesting thing in all this is that so much of this bond has formed without any romantic connotations yet.....there are all these subconscious emotions between them.....like the way he reacts when she's in danger, like the way she dreams of a hug with him....none of these are overtly romantic things....but they speak of intense emotions inside both of them for each other....a yearning for each other that they haven't consciously realized yet.

And it is that yearning that is still in the process of finding its way through the complications they are in currently.....lol so let's see which direction it all takes.

Beautifully said, AY! I agree, it's interesting that what they feel for each other is not exactly overtly romantic, but it's still very intense, especially from Adi's side. I do think Adi feels for Imlie much more strongly than Imlie does for Adi at this point.

He studiously shut his face to anything 'Imli'. There was an awkward expression on his face when he brought Moon over and stood before Imlie. He is hiding and upset is what I got. I dont believe time MAlini will bring up what she saw to Adi. She is hurt but also has immense gratitude to Imli for saving her. She will suppress what happened and try to move on and more things will continue to happen till she reaches breaking point. Adi cannot justify this and it will make no use for cvs to even raise something he cannot answer - only purpose it will serve is to nail him deeper and CVs will prefer for him to get the slow nailing :)

I did not mean Adi will become uncaring of Moon per say. :) I meant to say the fear of upsetting Moon may no longer be as intense for Adi. He will start to get closer to Imlie and I don't think even fear of what Moon will think will hold him back any longer. He has been headed this way increasingly - with telling Ac off, her college admission discussion.

And, he will continue to head that way! 😛

The moment he realised Imlie missed out of his sight......ooooo OMG police protocol tod diya that too for nakli rista ki side pe bula rahi asli rista ( according to bs) bhi nahi dikha. I mean his mind was completely immersed in his so called 🤣🤣zimmedari.
