It is like he doesn't know kab the mask forms.. and then he has to be all formal and maintain his distance and act all serious am not connected to her

Again if he wanted he could have told all to buzz off from his room malini needs rest and he can take care of her but nope they all had to encircle them them he can be so formal.. had it been anything like they say they have yeh kyon rakhta sabko wahan and akele kyon nahi fuzz kia over his moon.. now now it in mind this is the same guy who asked for privacy with imlie and went back in to talk to her after the gun shot incident after everybody left not only that but kept visiting her alone..

The difference is like day and night, haina? 😆.....even the segment waale were talking about how Adi's behavior changes so suddenly.

One way to look at this is that Adi cares for Imlie but can't allow himself to freely express it publicly so he waits for those one on one moments to talk to her freely without something hanging over them....it's like he finds a space to be free for a bit without feeling any obligations.

But how exhausting must it be to constantly live with a mask on....he's become so conditioned to doing it for so long that I guess he doesn't even realize it anymore.....Imlie put a crack in that mask from the moment he met her in PD and since then he's been struggling to pull it back on.

The irony will remain ofcourse ki sach pe itne bhaashan dene wala insaan itne bade jhoot jee raha hai.....lol he thinks the only lie he's living is hiding his marriage with Imlie....but yeh toh usse bhi bade jhoot jee raha hai that he is too scared to face. And to quote his own line back to him....sach sooraj ki tarhaan hota hai - it will get illuminated one day. And he will pay a price bigger than he can imagine....right now he can only see the price he may pay vis a vis his family/Malini feeling shattered....but jo yeh dusre jhoot jee raha hai - not having the courage to face his intense emotions for Imlie, continuing to feed Malini ke delusions, successfully confusing Imlie that she means nothing to him....is sabke bhi bahut bade price pay karega yeh.

Todays episode left me with mixed feelings

while watching Adi rescuing Imlie,i was kind of scared of Adi. Not because he is putting himself also in danger but the extent he has gone to save Imlie forgetting EVERYTHING (His "love" Malini, his profession etc,...) He is so focused about saving Imlie that He didnt even noticed Malini lying there.

I do love intense love stories but i think Adi's love will be more intense which will let him hurt Imlie and hurt himself and scare the persons around them.

And i felt really bad for Malini, she is a nice human being and she also deserves a person who cares for her like Adi cares for Imlie.

and our super 'Complicated' Aditya kumar tripathi after coming to home, he is all about Moon 😒

i really wish Adi realizes his feelings soon and should clean all the mess he created.😔

Adi is definitely a ticking time bomb.....the fact that he isn't realizing how he gets about Imlie and how intensely he feels for her is definitely going to create more complications long term.

His denial is just as intense as his emotions for Imlie. And this kind of denial ends up coming out dangerously then as we are seeing has happened two-three times now....first was the gunshot incident in PD where he totally unraveled when he thought Imlie was dying.....then his outburst at AC when he saw her insulting Imlie in her house (he kind of forgot Malini then also by lashing out at her blindly).....now this Imlie rescue where he didn't even see Malini right in front of him.....the more he is repressing/denying his feelings for Imlie, the more they are coming out in ways that are shocking.

He is lucky that he is surrounded by so many delusional and gullible people that they are not even seeing the meaning of some of the incidents that happen right under their nose. So yes, long term, Adi will manage to hurt more people, including himself and Imlie in the process as he fights the intensity of his feelings for Imlie.....woh lava aise hi phoot phoot ke baahar aata rahega.

Malini does deserve better but she also needs to wake up and smell the coffee....if she doesn't even wake up after this incident when Adi didn't see her right in front of him, then it's sort of like she's inviting all this to continue with her. Any sensible woman would question this incident big time and take a stand.

Clearly Imlie has taken that place in Aditya's subconscious where no one else can come even close. Like you said AY, he literally forgets the whole world when Imlie is in any sort of danger. The world ceases to exist! And, it's a continuation of the gun shot incident in PD. Now, I am starting to think, subconsciously he must have started to fall for Imlie in PD only. Maybe, even before the forced marriage, he must have felt some sort of bond with her. It wasn't exactly romantic, just some sort of connection. Then, with all the incidents before the forced marriage and after, the connection just grew stronger and stronger, to the point where Imlie has taken that place in his heart where nobody else can come even close, but his mind doesn't know that yet.

Aditya being a righteous man wouldn't even allow his mind to think that way. A girl has waited for him for seven years, he has been committed to her for seven years. He decided to fight with destiny and keep his promise. But, unknown to his mind, his heart has already let Imlie in. Anything happens to her, his mind stops working and his heart takes over. Even in the singing scenes (I have to say those were my favourite), the way Aditya was laughing - it's like these two just apna chota sa ek duniya bana lete hain.

I am pretty sure Malini will remain delusional. It's not something she would want to face in near future, but she won't be able to forget it also.

LOL yes, I think none of us saw this coming and we were definitely in a daze after the epi🤣.....Adi is such an unpredictable character that one can just never tell what you will get with him any given day😆

@bold: I also feel the same, Mayuri. He definitely started feeling some kind of connection to Imlie in PD even before they were forced into marriage. And this all ties back to the point Fary was making earlier in this thread regarding masks....Adi has lived a kind of masked existence for a long time, especially vis a vis Malini.....the kind of person that he's been in his relationship with her is not the real Adi....it's been a convenient facade that has carried their convenient relationship for 7 years....a relationship in which they never really communicated honestly, a relationship where he always put his work above his love, a relationship which frankly never really got tested into understanding the meaning of being true partners.

Then came the whirlwind called Imlie and literally knocked him off his feet😆....and the mask came flying off in PD....so yes, the bond was forming since that point only but the forced marriage did two things - it both deepened as well as fractured that bond in some ways. The interesting thing in all this is that so much of this bond has formed without any romantic connotations yet.....there are all these subconscious emotions between them.....like the way he reacts when she's in danger, like the way she dreams of a hug with him....none of these are overtly romantic things....but they speak of intense emotions inside both of them for each other....a yearning for each other that they haven't consciously realized yet.

And it is that yearning that is still in the process of finding its way through the complications they are in currently.....lol so let's see which direction it all takes.

Everyone is grey no? Including Aditya and Imlie for lying through their teeth every day. Malini is grey because of her insecurities and rightly so. If your husband of 7 weeks/ best friend for 7 years looks through you and rescues someone else in a life/death situation, one will change. But Malini might end up compartmentalizing it for a bit. She will break because it is her marriage that will collapse and she will watch it firsthand. Will she cause harm? No, that is her mom’s forte. But Malini is already grey. Poora black/evil nahin hai but she is not without faults.

I am still not reading too much into the last 2-3 minutes of the episode, will wait to watch today's episode before forming any opinion. Not sure why Malini suddenly is saying "Aditya-se tumhara gehra rishta hain". Where did that come from?

How will Aditya explain himself to Malini? What happened yesterday would deeply hurt even a friend, let alone long-term girlfriend/wife. How could he not see her? More importantly would Malini even ask Aditya about it or will keep everything inside? They do not seem to have a very open relationship. Malini hasn't told Aditya about the poem yet, she hasn't told him how it bothered her when Imlie and Aditya entered the room together. This may also be something she wouldn't want to discuss as it'll help her to remain delusional.

Will Aditya be angry with Imlie? Most probably, not sure. He is already very protective of Imlie, hopefully we'll start to see a more passionate Adiitya also where Imlie is concerned. 😳I am not sure if he'll ever be uncaring towards Malini. If not anything, she is a very close friend of his.

Don't you think he is already fighting his feelings by hiding - for me the last minute of the episode yesterday was telling...but we will see today - if I read it right. He studiously shut his face to anything 'Imli'. There was an awkward expression on his face when he brought Moon over and stood before Imlie. He is hiding and upset is what I got. Maybe also very angry that he almost lost her again.

I dont believe time MAlini will bring up what she saw to Adi. She is hurt but also has immense gratitude to Imli for saving her. She will suppress what happened and try to move on and more things will continue to happen till she reaches breaking point. Adi cannot justify this and it will make no use for cvs to even raise something he cannot answer - only purpose it will serve is to nail him deeper and CVs will prefer for him to get the slow nailing :)

I did not mean Adi will become uncaring of Moon per say. :) I meant to say the fear of upsetting Moon may no longer be as intense for Adi. He will start to get closer to Imlie and I don't think even fear of what Moon will think will hold him back any longer. He has been headed this way increasingly - with telling Ac off, her college admission discussion.

Good episode today. Imlie got disturbed seeing adi and malini intimate. Remains to be seen if malini really starts doubting adilie per the precap ya phir usko 10 kadam peeche le jaayenge makers😆. Waiting for AYs star review.
