Waise I have marked one thing " imlie is brave,firecy and meethi is calm and composed whereas anu aur moon ke case mein exactly opposite hai 😆

LOL you've nailed it....Adi is such an expert at deflecting blame onto Imlie ki yehi karega phir se....pretending like he himself was making some grand effort to look for Moon jo ki Imlie ne interrupt kar diya....lol sach toh yehi hai ki Malini is alive cuz of Imlie, not Adi....iska credit Malini DIDI toh de degi Imlie ko, par kya Babusahib denge? 😆

@bold: It's all in his subconscience😆....his subconscience has accepted Imlie as his wife and he cares fiercely for her.....otherwise he wouldn't be reacting like this in situations where Imlie is in danger.....he literally forgets the whole world in such moments....usko aur koi nahin dikha other than Imlie....na Malini, na Malini ke papa, na police, na anyone else.....lol

But consciously he doesn't know.....and he is too terrified to self-introspect and ask questions whose answers he's scared to hear.

I don't know if Imlie knows yet that Babusahib rescued her.....maybe when they both get a moment to talk by themselves, we will know....cuz Imlie will likely do another THANKOO for saving her life😆

First, I have to say, I am really surprised! I didn't see this coming! 😆 Till the last moment I was expecting, he will put Imlie next to Moon and say he rescued Imlie first because the bridge was about to collapse. But, Adi toh even didn't see Moon! Wow!

Clearly Imlie has taken that place in Aditya's subconscious where no one else can come even close. Like you said AY, he literally forgets the whole world when Imlie is in any sort of danger. The world ceases to exist! And, it's a continuation of the gun shot incident in PD. Now, I am starting to think, subconsciously he must have started to fall for Imlie in PD only. Maybe, even before the forced marriage, he must have felt some sort of bond with her. It wasn't exactly romantic, just some sort of connection. Then, with all the incidents before the forced marriage and after, the connection just grew stronger and stronger, to the point where Imlie has taken that place in his heart where nobody else can come even close, but his mind doesn't know that yet.

Aditya being a righteous man wouldn't even allow his mind to think that way. A girl has waited for him for seven years, he has been committed to her for seven years. He decided to fight with destiny and keep his promise. But, unknown to his mind, his heart has already let Imlie in. Anything happens to her, his mind stops working and his heart takes over. Even in the singing scenes (I have to say those were my favourite), the way Aditya was laughing - it's like these two just apna chota sa ek duniya bana lete hain.

I am pretty sure Malini will remain delusional. It's not something she would want to face in near future, but she won't be able to forget it also.

Bas ji experience ho gaya hai 😆 it is toh samjh lag hi gayi hai ab babusabib ki humein bhi and hum toh sirf 7 hafte se dekhe hain🤣 bas malini ko na lagi

@bold: Yes, that is exactly what it is. The way the marriage was forced onto him gives him the excuse of trying to deny its validity but woh rituals ka significance, woh responsibility ka weight isko usi point se feel hone toh lag pada tha in some form.....and it only grew with time as him and Imlie continued to face various situations together.

Malini is the perfect shield for him to try to avoid facing the truth, to try to outrun fate....something to force back his control over his own life and choices pre-PD. But end of the day, woh jo ek sense of responsibility feel hota hai when rituals bind you to someone, he does feel that subconsciously with Imlie and it's just growing over time cuz even before the rituals, there was a sense of connection between him and Imlie.....so all these things are aligning to make them more fated for each other.

This ties into the point you made in your thread also ki Adi ne Malini ko choose toh kar liya but she clearly wasn't really a partner for him if he didn't even know the bare minimum about her like who her friends are. Partner BOL dene se koi partner ban nahin jaata.....and maano ya na maano, partner waali qualities apne aap apparent ho jaati hain as they have in the many moments when Imlie has done the part of partner for him in various situations.
