Why can't judges give meaningful feedback?

Look at Javed Ali's advice to Neelanjana and Sonu Nigam's feedback to this contestant. Why can't we have judges like this?

For the second video @3:04 why is Neha looking at Sonu as if he has just insulted her newborn child? 😆

It's one of the things that's turning me off from the show to be honest. I was watching a previous season and noticed that Sonu would give meaningful feedback and constructive criticism about things the contestants can work on to do even better. That is really lacking.

The judges aren't just there to keep declaring the change in weather 🤔

They should be guiding the singers when they mess up or when they don't perform as well as they could have. This is how they will learn, and grow.

Agreed. The only time I saw any "feedback" was when Neha told Nachiket she had hoped he'd do something "different" or "unique" for his performance during the Bappi Lahiri special. What is that even supposed to mean? Did she want versatility? He's the most versatile of the bunch! Did she want him to perform better? He gave such an amazing performance on Pag Ghoongru Band! Plus, he's the one who brings in the most variety or uniqueness into his performances, with all his costumes and acting while he sings.

They have fixed statements:

Vishal - If you were present during the recording of the song then one version would be in ur song

Neha - Aap toh Indian Idol ho already

HR - Love your tonal quality, then some exaggerated nonsense and finally grand salute

Javed Ali has always given fab feedback and he genuinely listens to the participants. Even Pyareji gave such good tips on singing, the throw, feel etc.

2 weeks ago Neha screwed up HR's punchline of mausam badal diya because she didn't want anyone to steal her thunder...then Himesh cut her off last week in Pyareji special episode 🤣🤣

What feedback do you expect Neha to give, when the contestants are better singers?

Honestly, I expected better from Vishal and Himesh, but everyone is interested in theatrics and not pure singing.

Vishal and Neha only enjoy westernized music and they’ve made it evident. Himesh is the one that appreciates the others as well.
On the other hand, maybe they do give feedback, it’s just not aired.

Right! Even two seasons ago Vishal used to be quite critical and used to give specific example when he thought someone messed up. Now they don't really say anything. I don't know if the editors just cut it out and keep the theatrics or they just don't bother doing it at all. The guests keep coming and correcting the singers instead.
