Yes I think he most probably would have.
I don't personally believe in this "he was destined to die at 34". There are choices he made in his life amongst the branches of possibilities he had that led him to this outcome, and Bollywood seems to have hugely influenced his life, even on personal grounds.

Couldn't agree more❤️
and how are random strangers on a social networking site who have no contact whatsoever with ssr are supposed to answer this question ??
i am wth on what basis
He probably would have been alive, had he gone the Stanford way. Even as an actor, it looked like he was trying to keep his foot in two completely opposite worlds with completely different sets of people and interests, which left him hollow and unfulfilled. That's without taking into account the toxic hell he was obviously subjected to ... in bollywood and in general that comes with fame. That's also without taking fate and destiny into account and speaking strictly of his choices.
Ummm....how do you guys feel about the recent turn of events?

If Rhea did not procure drugs for a depression patient from her drug peddler brother he would be alive.
Coming to Bollywood is his chioce and he proved it, lived it thoroughly
Most probably.Maybe somewhere he would have regretted not following his dream, but it would have been much much much better than following his passion yet feeling disillusioned towards the end and meeting with such a tragic end😞. Sad he had to go through all that mudslinging in the form of blinds and ended up feeling left out, maybe that could have been avoided if he didn’t enter the industry.
