I couldn't understand how he kept looking and PZ had no idea despite her being able to see it in front of her. It was stupid!

Because I like Mitwa so this scene kept coming on and this thing bothers me a lot! Like SRK was an a$$ in that, while his wife was so happy and talking he was making passes at Rani who was embarrassed and didn't know how to react!

I don’t remember the scene in such detail but now that you mention, I know why I despised that scene so much. Dev was such a filthy asshole that he confesses his luuurve for Maya ‘jokingly’ in front of his spouse (and Maya’s spouse) more than on two occasions. 🤢

Kinda like SRK did for PC at some awards show in front of Gauri! 😆

I would use the word hate if I was completely invested in the story and liked something about the movie. Maybe the other characters, or some part of the story or some element. I just didn't care for anyone in the film.

On the other hand, SRK's character in Anjaam was sooo psychotic. I absolutely hated him in that.

I agree that SRK’s character was really selfish in KANK but it still doesn’t compare to how vile his character was in Anjaam.

Was he really? Friendship between men and women has always raised questions. Some people do believe this kind of friendship doesn't exist because one of the two will always want to bang the other.

I personally wouldn't take it too kindly if my husband's female friend spent all day at my house while I'm at work.

1. It's frustrating to find someone home after coming back from work

2. It's suspicious

I watched it without having any idea that it is the movie about extramarital affair....

Felt so uncomfortable ..

But, their marriages were not working anyway even before those two met ..they should have just divorced after realising they developed feelings for each other instead (didn't they actually met to save their marriages?)

But, someone mentioned Hum tumhare Hain sanam...Yes, I absolutely hated Srk in that movie

I agree that their marraiges were dead. But, why the bahaana of love...they were attracted and they cheated , it did not have to be love ... they have been selfish all the while , suddenly why behave like their spouses deserve the truth or they needed to punish themselves by lying to each other about their spouses forgiving them.

The movie does justify adultry ...but it never shows how SRK was a better deal than ABhishek ? it could have been a better movie if they were unpologetic about their affair.

Hell ! it would have been even okay if they were shown as never revealing their affair to their respective partners...

Kjo decided that the adultry is justified coz they treat their legal partners shabbily...but, there are hardly any grounds to treat them like that.

Aneways, its Kjo's world...its somewhat a better movie of his , even though a lot of what happens hardly makes sense. I dont undertand his usual trope of oldies behaving like tharkis in his movies. It seems more like they contracted something in old age which messes with their brain activity releasing copious amounts of pre teen hormones.

But isn’t the whole point that? That one can be dissatisfied with ones partner, regardless of them being the perfection ka moorthis, and marriage for absolutely no reason also?

i agree... but in a movie even that has to be established. All I am saying is close the loop since the movie at the same time is also not dealing with dark or complex characters.

@red: just a part that stood out to me, I don't think they needed to show how SRK was a better "deal" than Abhishek cuz you know how they say? Dil gadhe pe aaye toh pari kya cheez ...sth along those lines. 😆 Attraction just happens, and it can happen with anyone. It's kinda like Arnold Schwarz and his affair with the housekeeper I guess.

I also said the same thing . I may understand in the context of the movie as attraction leading to adultery , why call it love ?
But , here they totally risk their marriage by telling especially when t he y feel what they did is wrong and not to repeat it . If they are in love and tell their partners about affair then why lie to each other when they can be together actually.
it’s more like they did not care about marriage until they had it and valued it after they did everything to break it . it’s screwed up ! If only it was just attraction ... th Rey has to add sanctity to it and hence flippant use of word ‘ love’
