Early 90s was not monotonous, it was the start of new Golden music era in Bollywood. Nadeem/ Shravan became stars overnight and after that many more new music directors and new singers emergeged and started to get good work and recognition. Sonu became famous from his hit song Achcha sila diya in 1995....Jatin Lalit, Anu Malik, AR Rehman etc too started to get recognition in early 90s . Sonu Nigam sang tribute songs with T series and got recognition. But his real career started with song Achcha Sila where the public liked his voice in the song.. so Golden era stayed for 3-4 years, after that it was good music but not golden era..

All my favourite 80s songs have already been mentioned in the thread❤️ Just wanna add Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le from Sadma. Such a magical composition by Ilayaraja. Surmaiyee Akhiyon Mein as well.

Wanted to share this song from Naam (1986) as well. Pankaj Udhas isn’t strictly Bollywood but this song is kind of built in and used smartly in the film, and I can really relate to it having lived away from family for a long time:

Yeah songs from movie during 80 ' se like aasha, ek duje ke liye , qayamat se qayamat tuk, prem rog ,nikaah aitbaar, mashaal, coolie aakhir kyon kalaakaar, sindoor. , mr india tezaab are still memorable

I love to hear these songs from these 80 movie today also. I never get bored of these songs
