This translation really helped in dissecting the scene clearly it is bad dialogue writing. It jumps all over the place. But basically, Rani appreciates what Veer did at the end of the day — “I will never forget this Dr Sahab”. She also made it clear that she wants to be independent and not rely on him. Like I pointed out before, she doesn’t want to be forced to depend on someone which is what happened in the rescue scene. So she was hurt. But she recognized his reasons and accepted his apology.

I thought this conversation was a step back for RanVeer from Rani’s end initially, but it’s not reading it now makes me realize that Rani talked about what she liked and didn’t like and what she wants from her future. She is a girl with clarity (despite the crappy dialogue writing) and I love how frank she is (from the dhoti tying scene to this). I hope she continues communicating like this and I hope Veer learns to communicate with her openly like this too.

Note, their husband wife relation was not mentioned by her. Both RanVeer will continue acknowledging it in front of the world, but not in front of each other. But the biggest growth post this Balia track is they won’t unacknowledge their relationship either like they did before (particularly Veer). In their heads, they have accepted each other. It’s a jump forward in their relationship.

After something like this it is normal for someone to have mixed feelings. Her feelings are all over the place. The writing conveys ranis emotional state.

I thought that too. But then realized it’s a TV show. The confusion/mixed feelings should also be clear to the audience 😆 you shouldn’t have to watch it more than once to understand what she said. 😛

Agree. Ak. This English translation clarifies us something. She told what she wanted to be in past tense. I think even in initial episodes she used to say I am self reliant person.

So I think she will try to be independent as always but these two though they both wanted to be independent will land up helping each other and depending with each other with the situations life brings them.

But I think that lie she was talking about was the lie of going back happily as a wanted bahurani. I listened to that part more than once and it didn’t feel like she said it as Veer’s wife or for Veer. She didn’t have any hopes from Veer or for Veer consciously, but it was the feeling of being accepted by most of Veer’s family as a DIL. That broke and it was a lie. That’s how I understood it. I also think they will not acknowledge what either say in public in private yet. So whatever Veer said to protect her as his wife, she will not use it for or against him yet.

Also after her long dialogues, Veer’s response was also in line with his promise from the previous episode. He said he might make mistakes again and he will come apologize again like this if he does.

Regarding lie. I think you are right here too AK. Somehow she doesn't have any hopes from Veer. Unless Rani Sa force her to go to his room she won't go there . What Veer said to her in Balia had a great impact on her and she she talked about it even in seductive state.

This dialogue by Rani really gives credit to her character. She is not a person to rely on anyone. She has her own thoughts and goals for her life. May be it is like what Shaila said, she is hurt because people started seeing her only as Veer's wife. Or, she is hurt because for the first time she depended on someone and he let her down.

But marriage is not supposed to make you dependable on the other. It is like what Rhamadeer told Rani in flashbacks. It is a support. No matter how independent a person is, he/she must have a support system. And RanVeer will be each other's support.

I don't know, I feel this dialogue implies that the next track will focus on Rani struggling to adjust to her Bahurani status while fulfilling her dreams.

Before, she was only doing it for her father. Now, everyone accepted her. It is time for her to accept it too. In the end she will ADJUST as she always does.

Agreed! I thought the same during that scene. That accusation of Veer made a big impact on her even though he had said worst things to her. But she didn’t remember those and remembered only this when she was sedated. I hope we see Veer inviting Rani to his room after Ranisa asks them (probably in private). He can comfort her from a man-woman perspective, especially after knowing what she thinks about it from their Balia conversations.

Completely agree ❤️ I think she got hurt because people started seeing her as only Veer’s wife. All that could have been avoidable if Veer told her the truth in advance. She could have prepared accordingly. Hence she said she is hurt because he didn’t tell her truth earlier.

Bingo on the support system comment 🤗 Veer’s monologue promise implies that he will be her support system, helping her through any of her problems. Rani didn’t say it yet but she already supports him because of her nature.

I think the struggling to adjust as Bahurani while fulfilling her dreams is the appropriate next track. This is what Ranisa will try to exploit too, until it breaks Rani because she will feel like she is hung in the middle. Hope VV bros will be her support then. She will adjust in the end, like you said. She will find her way and alternatives to make things work (like her childhood horse story).
