Until Imlie actually gets to college, no scene has been set. I would rather focus on the current epis rather than as usual focusing on speculations about new characters and who is "engdame".

not predicting the end game just wanted this clarified for working on a os and wanted to know if you guys new more off him.
this has been so helpful and thank you. Means as off know he can be put on the shelf this future updates.

The track of tread has inspired a story so just needed some help.😊

Yes, this ultimately became the summary of the situation.....Adi fundamentally didn't trust Malini....not just when it comes to Imlie, but when it comes to handling her own Mom....he never has trusted her fully, but he never had to confront this truth so directly before this. This is a result of him and Malini glossing things over the years, and now both of them feeling shocked by the lack of trust and understanding between them.

I'm trying to think back through their conversations and I don't recall Adi ever saying "I trust you, Mun"....it has mostly been, "I'll fulfill my promise to you, you know me best, you understand me best".....no mention of trust anywhere.

That is probably part of it....I also think that Adi has never fully understood the instinctual nature of trust....you don't have to declare trust on someone for trust to exist....it's something that you instinctively start feeling towards a person. Adi has actually developed instinctual trust and expectations towards Imlie.....maybe because from the very beginning of them meeting, she has been stepping up to take a stand for him....even to the point of standing between him and death. He has never gotten that from Malini - their relationship never faced anything like that. So the trust has been of a very surface level - not really meaningful and deep.

The shocking thing for Adi to process right now is that his trust and concern are both for Imlie right now over the woman he claims is his rightful wife. When it came to Imlie, he didn't even trust the woman he claims he wants to spend his whole life with....and that's definitely a warning sign for them.

Yes, to some extent, that question is getting answered....the silver coin is like a burden for him that he is feeling weighed down by in terms of expectations, considering himself unworthy of. The simple coin on the other hand, instantly feels apna to him.

Again, this reminds me of Adi's own gyaan on relationships that he has forgotten....the right partner won't make your relationship feel like a cage, instead it will give you wings to fly :)

Totally agree... Imlie has built the unwavering faith in him with each and every selfless act of her that at the time used to leave him speechless. And this unwavering faith in him for her, was what made him stop today. He did not for a sec doubt her word but was just taken back. What surprised was, he did not even stop to ask Malani for an explanation. He just totally turned on her as if he was expecting this from her and not the other way around.

Well, this make me think about that question from yesterday, "What will happen when he finds out about the poem" Will he be angry with Malini, disappointed in Imlie or just feel betrayed by both?

@bold : I had forgotten this lines but its going to come in play soon.

On the separate note, in yesterday episode, they brought Adi in after the ladies stopped taunting her about the "naukrani" label. I think if he would have come in at that point, Adi would not have been able to say anything as this label was attested by him and I thought that was kind of deliberate. I think we are going to see another confrontation way farther in future where he himself will remove this lablel from Imlie in one of his outburts..

I think he will fully blame Imlie for the poem....Malini has the higher moral ground in front of him again cuz he yelled at her so much yesterday, so they won't show her feeling guilty about lying about the poem anymore.....and Adi is already drowning in guilt again so what is left to feel angry with Malini over now? lol

Re: naukraani label getting removed by Adi......I think that's way too far out in the future. For Adi to remove that label that he gave her, he will have to let Imlie have a different identity beyond just existing in his house....for that, either Imlie's truth has to come out or her college track has to start.....until Imlie is shown continuing to work like a maid in Tripathi house, this label can't be removed so easily. Adi may get upset hearing it but until he actively does something to dispute that label and give Imlie some kind of equal standing in his house as the rest of the family, it won't change anything.

Generally, new male leads are got in to push the story further or give it a new angle. I think here, it is for Aditya to get clarity on his feelings in regards to the two women in his life. From Imlie side, based on what we know of her, she might only consider him as a devar/jat and put him in a box called "brother". It might be pure friendship but their banter will force Aditya to look at Imlie in a new light.

Everything said and done, so far Malini has been shown to be a nice person. She has gone out of her way to accommodate everyone including Imlie. She is emotionally fragile and may have other shortcomings, but so far she has not given Aditya any reason to lash out at her like this. Her mother is a very unpleasant character to say the least, but is it Malini's fault? Not really. And, Adi should have know better after so many years of being with her. If it bothered him so much, he should have called it quits long ago. Or, he just didn't want to face it just like Malini. Some realtionship they have! 😕

From Aditya's side, he is unknowingly crossing the line and getting more and more drawn to Imlie. He is letting her in, getting used to her. Protecting her has been his responsibility, but jaane unjaane main it is becoming or has become much more than that. My guess is, they both will try to take a step back and try to stay away from each other which obviously won't work. 😛 Malini's reaction would be interesting to watch. Will she realize something? Don't think so, too early. Let's see....

The kitty party aunties -wala scenes really tested my patience! 😆

Today, Aditya was wrong and there is no question about it but was Malini right? She knows her mother very well but she still took Imlie with her because her mother said she wanted to apologize. The first red flag should have been when the plastic chair incident happened, shouldn't she have taken a stand then and left. Second, Imlie was a guest in the house. When her mother said, Imlie will work, she said I will work with her. Shouldn't that have been Imlie's choice? Will you just assume that a guest will work in your house? Third, being witness to her mother's treatment of Imlie, and that its her duty to protect her, should she have left Imlie with those ladies or asked her to stay in the room/kitchen till the ladies leave? Her mother is an unpleasant character but isnt it Malini duty to protect her near and dear ones from her mother especially when she is the bridge between the two households.

IMO, Adi knows Moon will never be a vile person but I also think he knows her enough to know that she might also not take the correct stand and hence his outburst.

But I have to point out something regarding @bold: Is being nice enough? 😆 Nice alone does not sustain any relationship.....and that is what we are seeing blow up Adi-Malini's relationship right now. They've both been "nice" to each other for 7 years....but what's the result? They are still falling apart because they just kept being "nice" without trying to understand each other.

This is why when push came to shove, Malini's "nice" image was not enough to reassure Adi....because all her niceness didn't built trust in him that she can actually handle her mom. Because he has never seen her really understand what the problem with her mom is and because they never talked through it because they were both being "nice".😆

You see how much problem simply being "nice" can cause?😆

You are so right!! 😆🤣

I was just pointing out that in this particular scenario Malini deserved better, itna toh he should have understood na? He should have this much trust in Malini, that she didn't put Imlie in this situation on purpose. Paata nahin how did they manage to be together for 7 years with zero understanding!!🤔

that makes so much more sense. I have not watch a Indian soap in so long normally watch American crime shows. But I have to admit the care free spirit of imlie and her journey made me want to watch with added factor that my mum kept taking on about how great she was.

To the piont were she was even getting annoyed of asking when she will get to see her go to school and make something of herself. It’s funny to see people of all ages connecting with her. That’s what makes it so unique.

Finally I would say it’s a drama and with it sensitive topics are being explored one things she told me was that I will never like everything I see. So yes I will not say that Aditya was right and wrong for anu was just trying to show her daughter to watch out as she has been scared by her own husband.

She doesn’t want history to repeat and dev today has proven to be spineless once more for he chose to stay quite then own up to his responsibility. It easy to claim your mistake in hiding but facing the fact is hard. As bitter me may find anu somewhere she has a right to be bitter and protective of her child’s future all mothers would do what she did.

It’s just good that Aditya saw what she was upto and poor Maline had to take the brunt of it. Sorry to say but she is not so naive to his feelings of status and respect he has always said that he holds integrity dear and made that clear in episode one. They have been in a relationship for so long yet I find they have never really talked. That’s marriage for we get to see shades of people we knew they never had. How we learn to walk with these or fix these is called being in a relationship. It’s about building going what they have with the good and the bad.

Imlie is yet to learn this but I see she will learn about these as she watches these two. We have seen a shade of her experience with these feelings etc.

Thank you for clarifying 😊🙂

When he got her to his house after marriage, when everyone called her the "naukrani" he never contested that statement nor denied it so in way did attest to it. 😊

Ahh, i am so tired of this guilt saga... I hope they give it a break for couple of weeks 😆But I do see him being more cautious around Malini and Imlie being more cautious around him....Doubt he will think about why he was so concerned so I guess we will have to wait for this new entry to add spice to their lives and push their thought processes in the right direction.
