Chapter 6

The next day all of Arnav's scenes were with Lavanya. He wanted to see Khushi but he couldn't find her anywhere. He knew she got a panic attack in the lift last day and all he could do was consult a doctor. Her PA was back from the leave and she assured to take care of her. He thought to ask someone but he stopped himself.

Khushi walked inside the studio in the afternoon as she had shoot in the second half, she looked around people working on the sets and busy with their own works. She was heading towards her vanity when she heard a loud laughing sound. She turned towards the source of sound and stood in furious anger as she took in the sight. Arnav and Lavanya were sitting together having food with Lavanya laughing hard and even Arnav was laughing. It looked like he had cracked another of his signature jokes. But she had thought those were for her. She had thought that it was her right to hear jokes from Arnav and laugh her heart out. But here this Lavanya girl was having the same time with Arnav which she used to cherish.

"Hey, Khushi." Lavanya greeted as soon as she saw her, totally unknown to Khushi's temper.

"Come, Khushi. Have a seat." Arnav said pulling out a chair for her. "How do you feel now?"

"Well, I don't want to disturb your merry moments. You both enjoy." she turned away arrogantly.

Arnav felt strange but couldn't understand what exactly she wanted to tell. He looked at her confused as her retreating figure walked with arrogant steps away from him. He felt a pang of sorrow, he felt like holding her arm and pull her to his chest, he didn't know why. He just couldn't watch her going away from him.

"Excuse me." he smiled formally at Lavanya and went away.

Arnav couldn't stop his feet but to move towards Khushi's vanity. She was reading her script.

"What the hell was that?" He asked.

"What?" Khushi questioned back totally clueless.

"What was that merry moments and all? Why are you behaving so strange?"

"Listen, I have a shot in few minutes. Don't spoil my mood." She tried to be polite.

"To hell with your mood. I am not like you that I will keep sleeping with random people." He said, frustrated.

Khushi was shocked by his words. Did he really know what he was speaking ? An angry Arnav looked at a teary eyed Khushi who looked upset by his words. What had he just said? Did she hear him right? Did he just mean to say that she sleeps with random people?

"Do you hear your own words?" Khushi's voice choked.

Arnav closed his eyes in regret. He never wanted to bring up this topic again. He had thought it was best to keep it in the past, what happened in the past. But then he decided that it needed to be over now.

"Yes I do." He replied. "What do you think is the reason I broke up with you?"

"What do think I am? And why would I would stoop so low?" Khushi asked as tears rolled down her eyes. "It was you who left me without even telling me the reason of our breakup."

"Oh please!" He couldn't believe she was playing the victim card here. "I know everything what was going on between you and that director Shyam Manohar Jha. You slept with him for the role."

As soon as this words left his mouth, he felt a burning sensation on his cheek. Khushi had slapped him.

"For god sake think before you speak!" She yelled. "Why would've I do that? I know he was interested in me but you also know that I was always professional with him."

Arnav held her tightly and pinned her tiny figure against the wall. She resisted but his hold was too strong. His grip was getting tightened slowly.

"You are hurting me." Khushi whispered.

"Not as much as you have hurt me." He whispered back and left her, leaving the vanity.

Arnav decided to stay away from Khushi the next day. He had to decipher her own feelings. The movie was wrapping up and they had to shoot their final scene in two days. All that could happen was that they would see each other. Arnav knew that nothing could kill the love he had for Khushi but he also couldn't forget that she had cheated him.

Meanwhile Khushi was confused and irritated with all this. She wanted to clear everywhere and needed to know why he had such a misunderstanding at first place. She had been dreaming of a life with him and here their relationship was rotten because of a mere misunderstanding.

They had an action scene today and Khushi wanted to talk to Arnav but he was avoiding her all the while.

The shoot started and Arnav continued with the fight sequences while Khushi stood at a distance and watched him with painful eyes. Trying to understand what she wants from herself and him. She wanted to stay away from him but still she wished him to be around her. She just tried to understand her own storm.

Arnav had to jump from a height now. He jumped down but fell on his elbow and had hurt himself. He winced in pain and held his elbow.

"Arnav!" Khushi shouted and ran to him and held his elbow. "Are you okay?" She asked worriedly as she panicked.

But Arnav pulled his arm away from her grip even though he winced in pain because of it. She stared at him in pain as he stood up as others came around to help him. Arnav looked at her still sitting on the floor and staring at him with painful tear stung eyes. He couldn't see her like that. He realised Khushi's tears were about to spill because of his rudeness and he never wanted to be a reason for it. He couldn't see her in tears. He stretched his other hand for her to hold and stand up. After she did, he walked off from there ignoring her. She stood there watching his back in despair.

Chapter 5:

Wow! First jealousy rocked Khushi and now the elevator literally rocked them both from their hidden feelings. So, Lavanya was his ex? Sort of. Was that after Khushi and Arnav broke up or was Khushi imagining it? How many times did Khushi forgot that she was acting with Arnav? Is she realising she can't stop thinking about him and his betrayal? She needs to confront him before she goes mad.
