The role of a man in a family are several

A son, A brother, A husband, A protector, A son in law and so on

One must be mature enough to balance those relationships effectively

The relationship of an elder brother and his siblings is very complicated

Almost tom and Jerry like

Speaking from personal experience

An elder brother is such a pain in the arse

But at the same time, he is your confidant

He is your teacher, savior, your protector

Especially in a family with no father figure, An elder sibling might take it his responsibility to look after his younger ones

To step up and make sure their younger siblings never feel the lack of a father in their life

Vansh took the entire responsibility of his family after his father's death

he fulfilled every whim of theirs,

Covered for every mistake of theirs

Because he felt it was his responsibility to do so

He has quite a twisted definition of responsibility

He feels he needs to protect them no matter what they do

and the family knowing this keeps making mistakes overconfident that they have vansh to cover for them.

An example of it is When Aryan had gone overboard with his illegal business and vansh decided to not help him, Chacha emotionally manipulated Vansh by saying the latter took the responsibility to take care of the family no matter what and he can't pull out now and Vansh caved

He failed to understand that taking responsibility does not mean covering for their mistakes, it means to teach them the right path when they go wrong.

Taking responsibility means accepting you are the problem of the matter and the solution, Vansh.

Ishani, the spoilt brat of the family. went through one of those natural emotions that every younger sister goes through in this episode

the realisation that there is another woman in her brother's life

That his priorities might have changed

Especially where the sibling relationship is very strong, such insecurities are understandable

However, after everything we know, it is very had to sympathize with her

If it was Sia, It would have been understandable

But after everything vansh has done for her, Ishani's insecurities does not make sense

Why?

Ishani has the I, me and myself attitude

She loves Vansh, Yes, but not more than herself

She claims to love her brother but fails to understand him

His care, his love, the importance riddhima has in his life

This is evident in the answer she gives to Aryan for the question "At the moment of crisis, Who will Vansh save...You or Riddhima' And she says "Undoubtedly her"

This proves she does not even know him

Vansh who considers the entire wellbeing of his family as his responsibility will never choose between the two

He will put himself through the fire if it saves his sister and his Wife.

Ishani, not understanding this fact is very disappointing.

But, Is Vansh entirely to blame for Ishani's actions...Not at all

Vansh had showered the same amount of love on Sia that he had on Ishani, maybe even more

But while Sia understands her brother's feelings, Ishani refuses to look past her own.

And with miscarriage on the way,

Will she unfairly blame vansh for everything, for failing to keep up with his promise

For choosing Riddhima over her, when he clearly didn't

With her insecurities building,

her hate for riddhima once again surfacing

What will be her reaction to riddhima's pregnancy news.

And Vansh failing to save his nephew, Will his fear of not being able to save his own child increase.

Just when we thought Ishani is being sweet and positive,

The makers threw in a million reasons for her to hate riddhima and for us to hate her

P.S Voot hates me..So i have not seen Episode 187 yet. Will provide my analysis for that after 7.30

Yes

Correcting the mistakes is also part of responsibility but he doesn't do that. Ignoring the mistakes and covering up is not the right responsibility. Well, don't know when he will learn and I think by the time he does - he may lose something. Every lesson in life comes with a price.

Hahaha balance he has never been able to balance 😆

Lol in this scenario I am the older sibling I can say parents put lots of pressure for you to be the best example for your younger sibling. You have to be the responsible, mature one and make sure your taking care of your younger sibling. You have to teach them to take the right path but at the same time shield them from all the bad. It is definitely a lot of pressure.

👍🏼

Vansh took the entire responsibility of his family after his father's death

he fulfilled every whim of theirs,

Covered for every mistake of theirs

Because he felt it was his responsibility to do so

Right he never realized that he should not cover their mistakes and let them learn the lesson. People only learn from their mistakes. Here even Vansh's mistake was brushing their wrongdoings under the rug. We see what happens to people like this in real life they get accustom to being bailed out of every situation. How will they learn to overcome things on their own. Yes you should protect your family but not to the point where they are doing crimes and not being punished for it. Punishment is a part of life it helps us learn not to make those mistakes again.

I did not like when Chacha had said to Vansh about this. Pissed me off especially when he brought up Ridz was so unnecessary as the issue was about Aryan. This is a really good example though of hiding a person's mistake and bailing them out. Has Aryan learned anything? More ever he has become selfish and feels he deserved to be head not Vansh. He has become arrogant. Thinks he can do whatever he wants and answers to no one. Now he is plotting behind Vansh's back. Remember no good deed goes unpunished.

However, after everything we know, it is very had to sympathize with her

If it was Sia, It would have been understandable

But after everything vansh has done for her, Ishani's insecurities does not make sense

I think she had an inkling a long time ago. She has noticed from the beginning that Ridz affects Vansh that's why she would insult her. She knew she would lose the attention she gets also the reason why she fights with her brother. It is all for attention lol. Very common thing for someone to do to see attention. And Vansh in order to pacify her would give in to her demands always.

Why?

Ishani has the I, me and myself attitude

She loves Vansh, Yes, but not more than herself

She claims to love her brother but fails to understand him

His care, his love, the importance riddhima has in his life

He will put himself through the fire if it saves his sister and his Wife.

Ishani, not understanding this fact is very disappointing.

Agree with you here completely. Vansh would never choose he would sacrifice himself. If he knew Ishani was behind him he would have just gone in front. Unfortunately since Aryan knows how to get under her skin she will have ruined her relationship with her brother.

But, Is Vansh entirely to blame for Ishani's actions...Not at all

Vansh had showered the same amount of love on Sia that he had on Ishani, maybe even more

But while Sia understands her brother's feelings, Ishani refuses to look past her own.

No Vansh is not entirely to blame people make mistakes its a lesson learned kinda thing. She has also grown up and if she loves her brother the way she says she does then she will look past herself to see his happiness. When siblings are close they care for each others happiness.

Haila yaar tune kab post kiya maine miss kiya 😲Hi Priya this is gonna be long warning lol🤗If Ishani hates on Ridz and starts plotting to harm her she gets not sympathy from me what so ever. Literally Ridz went and prayed for her I give a two damn what Ishani thinks. Get over yourself your not center of universe. Yes losing a baby is something no one should have to go through but it is not right to blame people who had nothing to do with issue. Instead of channeling her anger on someone take time to mourn. I will tell you if Ishani gets back up to her tricks the bashing will start. No one has been able to sympathize with her. They only will if she shows maturity and growth. I am that person that's kinda like Ridz in a sense that won't hold a grudge no matter what you do to me I will be the better person forgive and forget. I don't mind giving chances for someone to improve themselves, mature and grow. Friends or family. Situation has happened to me in the past took some time but were back to being friends. But if you keep doing the same mistake then no sympathy from me I don't have time for that bye lol. So let's see according to a lot of people Ishani will go back to her old self so....🤔

Priya ,i agree with each and every point of yours. u have written so beautifully . Ishani lost her baby . it was unfortunate , but will she learn that karma pays back .if makers can bring some positive change in her instead of going a typical way it can deliver a good message . I mean she can atleast go to guilt trip regarding Riddhima 's parent, she dont have to sweet like Siya . Our show is already known for breaking stereotypes , then why not showing this . And its high time Riddhima knows about her parent . Iam really worried about trp ...I really hope it increases.

Thats exactly why i hate it. There is no point of riddhima to blame here. AND RIDZI atleast should once show her the light in front of the family and tell her to learn from her mistakes

He doesn't not even realise that correcting the mistake is also a part of responsibility. He feels he needs to protect them at any costs...He feels it's his job to cover up their mistakes..He needs to learn that it's also his job to teach them the right path.

Exactly..almost no one is sympathetic towards ishani for losing her baby..we just feel it's karma...we are waiting for what she ll do next..will she start her blame game and plotting again.

It would actually be a good twist if she turns a little positive and at least now realize what she took from Riddhima..but I don't think the makers will go that way..

I am waiting for tomorrow's episode actually so that I can give a combined analysis of Epi 187 and 188.

I feel when it's an older sister, it's different..

An older brother is that first wonky pancake..😜 all the experiments are done on him and the second learns how to be and not to be by looking at the first.
