Sai has actually taken Ashwini's advice pretty seriously. But let's see how this Ladakh outing offer from Virat plays out tomorrow and Sai's reaction...

Few things stood out to me today:

1. Virat lies ... like a lot, doesn't even think twice. He is a quick thinker and lying comes to him naturally like breathing. They have established it last week too when he lied about simple matter of baking soda, when there was no need. Everything he says and does is per his convenience. Till the end, he didn't reveal his reason for jasoosi. That would have been his survival tactic in CN.

Oh yes, he knows how to astutely dimiss something that doesn't go his way with a "lie". But it is generally harmless so far -- 30 lakh wala jhooth to Amey, shaadi shuda women in hostel, baking soda (Ashwini caught him though, and Sai actually assumed what he didn't mean to say and he played along) and even the lie when she asked him Aap Aniket se mile kya? during that dinner. And yes, you are right. He gave it a long thought to what else he could say before surrendering. He was surprised when she came back to "Jhooth kyun bola" after leaving his uniform accessories at the table... He knew there was no point lying about it so he accepted. Yes, he did not reveal the reason but she didn't ask with that much persistence also. The word "jasoosi" is reason enough na? Both of them accepted it -- also she said, "I told you everything about Aniket then why did you go to check him out". I think, they did not say it aloud but it seemed evident to Sai why he did what he did. She definitely doesn't think of it as his "guardian protective instinct". The hand grabbing was for a reason too. 😆

The scene was beautiful-- it kind of took the relationship to a totally new level. Both ways.

2. When Aaba died, and Sai had visions of her dad, she said few things, who will do my head massage, who will take care of me like you did, who will feed me and who will call me maaji aai. Virat completed most of it and took his first step towards calling her maaji aai someday.

Aai shappat! I had the same thought when he said the "Aai" word. I thought he'd actually add your aaba used to call you his Aai... but I guess the reason why Aaba is not being mentioned in the scene -- with the mother-less child and even in the conversation is because Aaba cannot be the centre of the conversation any more - the focus is on moving out from that duniya to this - the transition is happening

3. They showed Sai never lies and will never stand a lie. Virat just needs to remember this in future and not doubt her when his family lies against her.

I am sure he knows already. But when he's overpowered by his insecurities, he tends to forget everything and then his male ego takes over. I guess it can be concluded that way now - his need to have her say sorry was because he felt his authority over her was challenged with the whole Amey episode, apart from the fact that Amey was also arriving then in a few minutes.... same with Aniket jealousy.. Righ now, he's basking in all the attention she's showering on him.

4. For a second when he saw Sai, he forgot all his pain and it was just them, didn't care about others in the room. Of all people only Pakhi and Ninad noticed Virat line maroing his wife. Not even kaku.

Yes, they did not show Kaku's reaction but why does Ninad have a problem? Delusional Didi toh Virat ki aankhein padhti aur follow karti hai😆

Virat probably made a plan in his mind to take Sai with him already when he was done looking at her. Not sure whats Ninad's problem is with Virat looking at his wife with love, does he think Sai takes priority over even his beloved Jeeva?

Why should Ninad care about that? @bold: not sure. I hope it plays out that way or the Baiko is going back to having the bhaao.. 😆

5. Pakhi didi ka same day twice chop hua, salty tea and raat ko by freaking out everyone unnecessary. Kaku and gang deserved the headache didi gave them, poor kaku couldn't even taunt Pakhi for that.

6. Ashwini ka over all acha day tha. Both times she showed Pakhi the mirror. But Sai's final reply was sweet and even Virat was like

I don't think his insecurity and jealousy has ended... It has been pushed aside because he's getting the attention he wants. There needs to be a similar situation to see how he confronts it to be able to decide if he's really over it or not. In the Aniket issue, probably yes, but then Aniket is not the last person yet.

And what is this humbug of Virat offering to accompany Pakhi to Ladakh? Especially after the progress SaiRat have made in their relationship? Just a plot point to keep the wall(Sai's) up.....aka delayed gratification trope? I hope not.

I think Aai's conversation with Sai made a difference. No matter how much we are upset about aai trying to push pyaar, without talking to Virat first, if it were not for her, Virat would still he frustrate fighting with Sai. Now he is getting to hold hands and test water all thanks to his mom.

Yes, she's pushed Sai enough to give him the attention he wants to feel "secure" but the foundation needs to be stronger than that. He needs to address the issues more "machoorly"

To show his vulnerable state and that only Sai could give him the comfort. Even today, no one in his family comforted him when he was upset remembering Samrat.

I think Sai giving him the comfort comes from her nature of genuinely being concerned about people and also the fact that she is an optimist trying to look for solutions. But, it had to be more than that -- to also make the vulnerable state known to Sai in regard with Samrat. The way she looked at him when he told her that the kid's father was some "samrat". Yet, she cannot help think Virat wants to spend time with Samrat's wife on a trip to Ladakh - it will take some time for her to start seeing his actions independent of his jalebis..
