Over to you to enlighten us all further on topic of consent without our consent :)

Sooo what you're referring to is Freedom of Speech here... Consent is different (video dekh hi lete aap -- Bura nai hai).

See for me to talk, is not consent related because that falls under freedom of speech. However if I was abusing, speaking in racial slurs, inciting violent behaviour etc etc that could fall under 'Hate Speech' (again depending who you talk to cause' that too is a polarizing topic). Hate speech is not allowed and has legal consequences.

You are very much entitled to your opinion, as I am mine and if you don't like what I say --- in terms of speech etc you have the ability to move on, not quote me or just make a random reply of your own (you know freedom of speech). I have not violated you or your space physically -- and I have not indulged in hate speech. So the word consent is not apt for use here.

Shabash. Aap consent ki expert lagtee ho. So can you please enlighten.

1. How many times have Abhinav and Ruby taken consent of contestants when they pushed them.
2. How many times have they taken consent when they defamed them. Like calling someone chauvinist

3. How many times have they taken consent when they touched them - even brushed them by walking alongside... consent is consent right ? No touch means no touch.

2 - See notes on Freedom of speech -- defamation is not a consent issue... (year please aap video dekh hi lo)

1 & 3 -- I have mentioned this before, excuse the redundancy (see sigh above and perhaps video maybe -- ek baar? nai? please? ) BUT if someone mentions DO NOT TOUCH ME the immediate response is My bad, I'm sorry. It does not matter how many times before you have touched the same person.

Abhinav's push while a reaction to someone walking up to you and invading your personal is still wrong and I made no points about this. Ali pushed back -- I never made any points about that either. When Rubina touched Rahul's hand to move it -- admittedly by the contestants themselves she tripped, but she did apologize to Rahul and he did not accept it. I probably wouldn't have accepted her apology either cause' it didn't seem like a very genuine apology and it was during a task when heated arguments happen.

I feel like you misunderstood me as if I'm some sort of a blind fan and ridiculously pro Rubina or something. I like her a lot. I am aware of her flaws (and yes she has them). I just see that she receives a different treatment for doing the same things that the male contestants do a lot more. Anyway I digress... coming back.

What you've done here is classic 'Tu quoque' aka whataboutery -- it's the technique of responding to an accusation or difficult question by making a counteraccusation or raising a different issue. It's kind of transparent and to be honest a little amateurish. I see it, I won't respond to you with it as well.

Regarding Rahul being a male chauvinist --- well this will be another really long post and ab ek hi to jaan hai and ek hi tho lunch break -- Khana zaroori hai.

Also if you do not see reasons why he could at times sound like a chauvinist, then no amount of literature/discussion will change your mind; that too on some random online forum. These are ideology differences and they are pretty well ingrained. It'll just end up being a mindless debate and you'll resort to whataboutism which is is just mundane to respond to.

Accha suno... Video? Still no? Chalo phir...

there is such a thing as a game show / fake reality - that too a tamaasha show. U may not agree with what are the limits to be defined. but to take an incident and scream rape is ok? To have a POV and call all men as chauvinists that they can’t handle powerful women?
Kya aap ko lagtaa hain kee jab fake women card use hota hain uss wajah se actual women issues get weaker not stronger?
and as far as consent goes .... naada kheechna is not a fun thing but it’s not rape :). Let’s admit the difference too before we start speaking of physical acts of intimacy and lectures to jantaa on consent ? aur haan. Hum jantaa hain. Not the BB contestants in the show doing any of these acts :). Please don’t get conphused and send videos telling jantaa please kuch seekh lo 😂😂😂.

I have read my response carefully, much like how I word them -- this sort of logical thing matters to me, it may not to you, hey which is fine -- your style. I have not used the word Rape once. It is a serious allegation that I do not take lightly or make jokes about. Because Rape isn't funny. Period.

However since you did bring it up --- clearly a rape of Abhinav has not happened but he is feeling uncomfortable because Rakhi is acting sexually charged. That should be enough for Rakhi to stop her behaviour. To justify this as anything else is a sad reminder of how society blames the victim.

If this was your sister and some guy in her friends space, who repeatedly kept taking liberties with her, one day touched her shorts to pull her drawstrings? Would your response be the same? If the answer is yes, then ab kya hi bol saktey hai hum... aap lagey raho.

You know Sex ed mein sikaya jata hai no touch zones very early on --like junior high.

BB house is a reality show with real people and real behaviours --- and to normalize Rakhi's behaviour is not only wrong its dangerous. Young boys and girls watching this show will think ye entertainment hai. If you come back at me with nai their parents need to teach them, then you are kind of agreeing with me that this behaviour is not right.

This is either a real show or a fake one.... you can't have t both ways. You cannot say this is a fake reality when it comes to Rakhi but Rubina's shortcomings are all real.

Anyway my break is coming to an end --- I didn't tell Jantaa kuch seekh lo I specifically told one person here who was mocking me despite me being genuine and polite with them. I did however add a video to my initial post for reference if there was still any ambiguity regarding my points on consent.

Speaking of Video dekna hai? nai? Pakka? Dekh hi lo yaar... 😉

Cheers

koi admee ko defame karnaa along with all men can’t handle powerful women is shameful to say the least. Cant just use freedom of speech for such POV and brush them aside ... women card khelke humarey jaisey true feminists ka tauheen hum bardasht naheen kar saktey... simple as that

Abhi kept encouraging her. He bit an apple and gave her to eat. Promised her hugs daily. Kahaan stop keeya. Sirf encourage heen encourage .. actively encouraged .. not just passively ignored. Saree ka bhee khuch hua where he actively participated with her and as Sallu said - he knowlingly benefited the most from it.

Enuff said.
