I guess actors ke liye Balaji ka show means recognition on another level, which if you take SM/SC's case into account, they also got out of this season. Us fans will be hella disappointed and angry, but the actors will I'm sure walk away from this season with only positive memories. Their portfolios and profiles are enhanced. On that level, GOOD for them. They should get some benefit for their hard work.

The thing is, the days of Ekta being the be-all and end-all of TV are gone! She's no longer the only option. There are others - with varying degrees of bakwaasiyat - around, so SharBhi will not have any problems in finding their next roles. But the Balaji connection will be like gold for them.

For us? Not so much I guess.

Personally I'd love to see SharBhi in a Gul show, bc she knows how to utilise chemistry. But dukh toh hai ke Veeranshu jaisa character Ekta/Mukta ke dimaag se aaya. If others can also adopt that ML mould, toh to mazaa aajaye.

IDK. I've been joking around about it, but I do sometimes suspect there's some smoke in that fire. The rumours came out a while ago, so they weren't ready for an announcement at the time...but maybe soon. IDK - I can't say for sure obvs. It's just a feeling. If it *is* true, I'd want both of them there. It would cut worse if only one of them were cast. Because I can't do that...I need more than that to jhelo EK again.

I'd love to see them both work with 4 Lions. Surbhi's done it before and honestly, from the direction to the cinematography to the sets to the writing to the way they prioritise romance...4 Lions has a lot more going for it than Balaji. It's still got its flaws, obvs. But it's slightly higher on the watchable scale.

And agreed. Star Plus next please. Colors can go jump in an empty pool.

See. We've been discussing that. I dont think even finite shows have specific end dates, just vague time frames. I believe this show was given 6 months and about 50-60 episodes. So it was always meant to be finishing Feb end. The cast would have known this. Unless there was an extension.

I doubt they are wrapping it earlier due to Sharad or any actors' commitment. Even if it were to be true, I am sure they are all willing people who would be flexible and make the scehdule work so that the show culminates properly.

Which brings me back to why the heck are they rushing this? Even looking at it objectively, I dont understand the point. The story has way too many loose threads remaining that will obviously not be paid attention to now.

Edit- Also word on Sharad getting more recognition for Veeranshu. He was an will remain an iconic character. I also need one for VaNi please, the show has ruined them on so many levels.
