Was Gandhi a ghost in Lage Raho Munna Bhai?

If it was a hallucination of Munna like the doctor in the film was claiming, then why did the ending scene show Gandhi narrating and addressing the audience by breaking the fourth wall?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmRRv_PvPV0&t=0m58s
It even showed that Gandhi's ghost/hallucination could make people see him at his will, like he did with Boman Irani's character in the end.

So wasn't it actually a ghost and not a hallucination?

Isn't this what Hirani was hinting?

Lage Raho Munna Bhai was a feel good movie, and didn't had any logic.

If it was a ghost, then why couldn't it answer three basic questions asked in the climax , hell even it was hallucination ,why didn't it, of all the three hundred books we are shown read by Munnabhai, these answers would in first two.

Well I suppose Gandhi wanted Munna to fight without his support and mentoring.

It was shown that Boman irani's character started reading Gandhi books just like Munna bhai. After that, Gandhi started to show infront of him.

And that Gandhi giving life lessons, it was the last part, so it was shown just like that maybe, not included in the story...like narrator narrating..

For some reasons Hirani is against books and education

You can be a doctor without reading anything in Munna Bhai MBBS

You go nuts when you read books in Lage raho Munna Bhai

Don't read books and you'll be #1 in your class..3 idiots

No.

I think you're taking it too literally. It is human conscience, especially one rooted in Gandhian morality that breaks the fourth wall - not the ghost of Gandhi or Munna's hallucination.

Munna didn't become doctor in MBBS.

And in 3 Idiots, Rancho didn't support mugging up bookish knowledge without understanding anything.

He didn't say that you don't need to read books to study.
