isiliye i refrained myself from watching star plus shows. but after YHM starplus gave little hope of entertainment and more romance between leads.

so after that, this is the first show am watching in star plus, as as the concept itself is a love story i expected to see more cheezy romance etc etc.

but all we get if family drama, fights, MUs, promotions on EMA, babhi ki ghandi nazar devar humesha. yaakkk...🤢

its actually good in a way that virat ko bolne ka mauka milraha hai, kayi serials mein ML sirf peeche khada hota hai...🤣

Yes, true. A few years back there was a show on SP where the male lead was very strong and because of him the show got high TRPs. But, after 6 months he became dumb and the female lead took over and the TRPs went down hill. The male lead was shown only for romance and that too for a few seconds.

Nahi Star plus pe iss pyar ko kya nam du, ishqbaaz, eek hazarome MERI Behana hai was very nice shows there all leads gives equal importance. And all are romantic also . Arnav Khushi is my ask time favourite couple.

I am very unhappy with creatives for giving least screen space , dialogues to the male lead of this show. He is only giving special appearances ever since admission track got over. Also they are not shaping his character well. Neil is so fantastic in expressions and his talent is totally being wasted. Disappointed!

In the serious note I hope Neil bhatt is okay. He looked tired in last scene.

I also found Neil very very tired in the last episode...I really hope every thing is fine with him...its really true that Neil being such a brilliant actor he is totally not getting the screen space that he deserves ...he just adds value to any scene...hope something is done in this respect

I love his acting and his subtleties. If not for his acting and his chemistry with Sai, I wouldn’t have found this show appealing. They have to drag the show for long so they are setting the stage slowly. Otherwise the whole story will be told within months.

Yes they can utilise his talents in a better way. They can introduce new storyline’s instead of just sticking to the original. but this is ITV at the end of the day not OTT. Watch neils individual interview with Neelam , he explains things in a better way.

I like the show so far even though I don’t agree with certain things. I think we have to remove our logical thinking when we watch such shows and just enjoy the cute chemistry, Sai’s befitting replies , the all powering angst and cute nok jhoks. ITV is nothing but mindless drama except for those really rare shows ( I love it)

PS: I have seen few episodes in Tamil version. The actors were not as good as the ones in Hindi ( Neil and ayesha) but I am sure when the particular story lines comes to play in the Hindi version it will be a treat to watch Neil and ayesha play those scenes :)

These are just my thoughts.

I too agree with you...Neil seems to so grounded and he explained evey so finely and in spasth shabd...jokes apart Virat is incomplete without Neil and Sai without aiyesha...Neil can show everything from funny to fury with just a head nod or flutter of his eyes..

Hope future episodes bring out the best from both...

You know what I just started re-watching the show from beginning, and I'm currently just gone past episode where virat makes the stupid promise to pakhi. In all of these previous episodes, especially during his heartbreak over his 2-day yoga love failing, neil's acting was at peak level in this show.

OMG how amazing his acting was especially in the car drive with sunny when he got back from pakhi's haldi in her house where he got to know she's marrying samrat.... oh man how he shifted between trying to contain his pain to bursting and breaking down when he stepped out of the car and he and sunny were talking was just absolutely amazing.

Seriously the acting that he did in the heartbreak track was phenomenal and actually the one thing that made the virat-pakhi love story worth watching. It also highlighted how weak of an actress the one playing pakhi is, because in the same scenes where neil nailed the distraught and heartbroken lover role and his eyes brimmed with pain, the actress' eyes just looked blank but full of glycerin tears and a grimace on her lips to make her seem in pain. Neil on the other hand had such expressive eyes that were like a volcano trying to hold as much of his emotions back. 👏

Unfortunately the only thing we are getting to watch that is worth watching is the parts where sai tackles chavan's like a sherni. Everything else about the show is awful and unbearable to watch given neil screen time has been reduced and he mainly just acts as a spectator or a mediator with a couple of lines during kitchen politics. If it wasn't for sai's character and the occasional positive moments we get of sairat, this show is not worth watching or entertaining anymore with neil just being wasted.

Also I have never seen such a type of family drama before. I have seen plenty of serials with planning, plotting, and torture on female lead, yet I have never seen one quite like this where every week seems just like a new game of ping pong between the horrid in-laws and the female lead and the prize being who gets virat's support 🤢

Matlab, literally every week consists of the family finding a way to insult. humiliate and try and start a fight with the female lead, the female lead trying to defend herself and shoot down their attempts at putting her down, and then waiting to see who virat supports and what he does. EVERY BLOODY WEEK! Never seen such a thing in any other show. This is just too much family drama now. The writers need to give the audience a break in between these family cat fights and female lead humiliation, by showing interesting tracks in between related to sai's college, virat's police cases, and also giving us proper sairat romantic scenes. It's itv after all, and romance in actual is just as much of a draw for itv audience as is drama.

@ postmaker- it is the main reason I have stopped watching the show, becos I feel it’s no more SAIRAT love story, also if the family tamasha was written well and in a more realistic fashion, could have watched. It is so dumb and regressive, I know ITV hai but hadh hi Ho gayi.
