I was actually surprised that the whole family seemed surprised that Vir decision was to bring it to Panchiyat.... I kinda felt Vir... did that on purpose too... to take it to council, for truth to be laid out so everyone got equal opportunity and also Priyu and Purvi should not feel shamed about it, and its not her fault...

Vir as mukhi has an incredible sense of justice. And he's a slave to proof. I loved how Purvi reminded him to think with a balanced head by bringing up her punishments. He knew this was too big a crime. He couldn't do justice without hearing both sides. Also, I think him bringing this in the panchaayat also shows how much he believes in equality. His village is his family. If he expects other people to come to him for justice, so this matter needed to be heard in the panchayat.
And I love how balanced he was throughout the proceedings. Although his question to Priyashi ki why did she go to Vaibhav's room alone was a little annoying. I wanted purvi to tell him that even then, Vaibhav was wrong.
