As for movie appearances, she really did not make an enough mark in any of her appearances to be considered successful in that department

Mohit too has one hit show, Devo k dev and then did web series and a movie which once again didn't get him much coverage

So both are roughly on the same page as far as careers are concerned

Career wise at this point , Mohit is more successful professionally than Mouni. So it's not like she was the big star ever. Both had enough hit and miss phases in their careers.

Also it's not really possible to say what really went down between a couple because we won't ever know all the details. Could be something as simple as incompatibility. Yes it's a thing.

At the time when Mouni met Mohit and all the dating rumors started , Mohit was more successful than Mouni . And he never stopped working all through out the time their dating rumors lasted. So him ever being dependent on her financially is highly unlikely.

Mouni wanted to make it big in her movie career and for that she had to let go of her tv boyfriend. Just like Sushant did with Ankita. Disha did with Parth. It's ok to be ambitious. I'm not judging. Hope they both find happiness in their separate personal lives.

OMG, I remember how KYY hai fans used to hate on Disha, would go on her social media and call her a S*** and what not. Turned out Parth was gay and in relationship with Vikas haha!🤣
