It's a beautiful watch❤️
Saw the movie and loved it. It's a wonderful piece of art. The way the love story unfolds, the way he reaches out to her and the way she responds keeping her dignity intact, is cinematic gold.
How tender and subtle the love story is...nothing outlandish or jazzy, just authentic emotions and a connect that breaks the barriers of class and social status.
Heart-warming and sad at the same time, it's a masterpiece. The best movie I saw in a long, long time.
Tilottame Shome is absolutely endearing as the maid with nerves of steel and nails her acting with such polish and verve.
Vivek Gombar doesn't match upto her level of acting, but he does come across as a character with a heart of gold. LOVED his charachter, wish he would have brought more nuances into it.
Overall, mesmerizing. Give it a watch folks❤️
*SPOILER ALERT*
Him kissing her was wrong, when she showed no signs of interest in him and clearly wanted him to stop.
She was also in a vulnerable place, since he was her boss. The power equation meant that she could never openly defy him or reject him.
It was a sad moment.
A seemingly educated guy like him should have known better.

I think kissing was an organic expression of love, and keep aside the power equation for a moment. That's the whole point of the movie, that love can transcend the barriers of class and social status. It was a moment which came naturally, and both characters were invested in the kiss, it was not one sided. The moment was powerful enough to overcome the fact that they came from two different worlds.

It was definitely consensual. She liked him and showed signs of attraction too. When the girl came out of his room, she was visibly upset. And notice the way she describes abt him to her sister. Very warm and affectionate. Also, Ratna has immense self respect and dignity and if she didn't feel it was right, ahe would have definitely told him off.
At that moment, when he kissed her, she let her emotions go with the flow but later realized that it isn't possible because of the circumstances and the class difference. Happens to a lot of people. First, she followed her heart. Then she followed her mind.
I thought you were asking a question. I was ready with an answer too. Disappointments.
seems like a amazing story...👍🏼
I think i need to watch it👌🏼
I just watched it...👍🏼
totally loved it❤
awe with the character ashwin, amazing man he is the way respect for ratna gradually turns into love for him
ratna what a strong character at the same the actress playing the role, its just written for her she lived the character
the natural realistic progress of the love story was beautiful and the main highlight of it and the biggest aspect the way ashwin-ratna both understand each other
It needs a part 2,the reunion of ashwin-ratna❤
'Some love stories are short lived or incomplete but that doesn't mean it was not love'
I can definitely dedicate this quote for ashiwin-ratna👆🏼💔❤

Didn't find that kiss wrong. It was organic. The writer-director handled a very sensitive topic without hurting anybody's sentiments. Nobody's wrong in Sir, except the circumstances. I shudder to think what this movie would have been in a less careful writer.
