Agree can someone change the title otherwise itβs confusing.
Wahaj says Fitoor. FQ says Futoor. Logically it should be Fitoor only as it was mentioned in the YT videoπ
The channel at times write Fitoor and at times Futoor on SM !
Why are they so confused.
Technically it should be Fitoor which means obsession.
Have never heard the word Futoor. Is Fitoor pronounced as Futoor in Pak ?
Or Futoor means something else entirely ?
I hope makers and channel can stick to one spelling.
Yes I also saw them spell and also pronounce in one trailer as futoor and was confused as I have never heard fitoor being pronounced like that.
I don't know Urdu. But I guess this word: Futoor is of Arabic origion. So in Arabic it is impossible to pronounce a word which has (i and o) .. that's why we pronounce it Futoor. There are many Arabic words which go like this : Suroor , qusoor, ghuroor , shu'oor..etc.π

Actually this is the first time I have heard Fitoor having two different spellings and pronunciation. The rest of the words with the 'u', I am aware of, we pronounce it the same way. Because the Hindi we speak today is an amalgamation of Old Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu. Mainly the first two languages but we do understand and speak little bit of Urdu.
That's why I got confused with the different spellings π

All the languages porrow from other ones, it is common. Arabic language we speak in different Arabian countried also porrowed from different languages. We in Aden/Yemen use many English and Indian words.π Urdu porrowed many Arabic words , but changed their pronounce. We do the same with Hindi words here too to suit our language.
