CHAPTER-19

Arjun in anger, "Miss Sakshi, tum yaha kya karrahe hoh?"

Sakshi ignored his angry tone, "Abh log office kyu athe yeh bhi mujhe hih batani hogi kya?" She replied without looking at him.

Before he could ask about her presence, Sameer phone rang, seeing the caller ID he took it saluting the person....listening to other side, "Yes, Sir...Jai Hind!"

Sameer sighed looking at Arjun dejectedly.....shaking his head...and then at Sakshi..."Welcome back to the team, Sakshi!"

Sakshi stood from her place turning to look at them, she nodded "Thanks Sir!"

"I think aap ko yeh information milgai hogi ki Pathan ke interrogation mei...mujhe bhi shamil karna hoga apko...,. Sir!" Sakshi smiled at him sweetly.

Arjun narrowed his eyes and went from there angrily, followed by Sameer. Once they are inside, "Yeh kaise hoskathe hain..."

"Kahi dad aur bade papa sakshi ki zidd mani toh nahi?" Sameer asked him.

"Nahi...mei sabko apne kasam diya...iskamatlab Sakshi unko contact ki...joh kabhi iski baat nahi talte!" Arjun replied forgetting the important person...

"Matlab..."

"Matlab yeh hain ki ETF se nikhalne ke... ek ghante mei Sakshi rejoin bhi hogai...bas humhe pata nahi...aur yeh dodin humsab ko andere mei rakhne keliye kiya hain woh." Arjun replied angrily.

"Abh kya?"

"Kya...matlab....tum woh karo tumhe karna chahiye...mei woh kartha huh joh mujhe karna hain,........" Arjun said, but realised the restlessness and loneliness he went through in her ansence were calmed due to her presence..

Here the team welcomed her with open arms...she was behaving same with everyone except Shree who is craving to listen his name from her....

Arjun and Sameer joined them after few hours, Seeing them Sakshi again became cold...... Arjun taking his usual place, glanced at her frowned as she was using left hand to type....."Sab apne paper work submit karo....bina paper work complete kiye koi ghar nahi jaa skathe....aur Miss Sakshi, mujhe tumhari report shyaam tak chahiye."

"Par...mere paas koi details nahi mei kaise report deksakthi huh..." Sakshi asked him.

Arjun glaring at her, "ETF mei dubara wapas tum aye na.... toh orders follow karna seekho.....bale hih tum ETF join ki apne influence se lekin yaha mei tumhara Boss huh....mere baat chupchap sunho aur kaam karo.... Shyaam tak mujhe report chahiye...aut tab tak tum yaha se jaa nahi sakthi...mere samne report complete karo aur jaldi haath chalao..." He said which shocked entire team as he was being harsh on her.

Sakshi understood he is irked with her, she knew she could complete her work very easily, but glancing down at her right hand which was bandaged, which she hid from everyone. She knew if Arjun looks at her hand he would get worried and guilt decide to hide.....gritted her teeth, "Yes Sir!" and started typing in her laptop with left-hand.

The team looked on seeing their tashan, understood Arjun is being unberable as she hurt his ego, it's what they thought but Arjun already knew something is wrong with her, as from the time they entered she was doing work with her left hand.... it's the reason he asked to complete the work by evening which is next to impossible.His attention was not moved from her who is working sincerely.

Peon entered inside carrying coffee for everyone...and tea to Arjun. Sakshi who was busy to complete the work soon....didnot notice the person was about to hand the coffee... forgot about her right hand and lifted it, due to which the hot coffee feel on her, she hissed in pain, "Ahhhh..." which shocked Arjun as her palm was already covered with bandage....

Arjun in panic got up glared at the person, "Dekh nahi sakthe hain..." scolding him he caught her hand which shocked the team, but what more shock they got is listening to him, "Sakshi tum theek hoh?"

The entire team gaped at Arjun who wouldn't show emotions, who was being unberable to her few moments ago, listening to his concern voice they got stunned......on other hand Sakshi feeling his touch after two days felt relaxed. Noticing the silence they both realised the surroundings, Arjun removed his hand masking indifference while sakshi avoided to look at him.

Coming out of shock Ayesha asked,."Sakshi tum theek hoh aur yeh kya tumhara haath mei pehlese hih chot lagi kya. " grabbing everyone attention.

Sakshi nodded with pain closing her eyes. Holding her injured hand gently, "Mei isse clean karke athi huh.." saying she went out of the cabin, various emotions going through her.

Arjun also went from there, Sameer looking at the person who brought the coffee..."Dyaan kaha tha tumhara?"

"I am sorry Sir! Mujhe laga mam dekhi hogi..." The person replied with shaking voice. Sameer giving a warning sent him away.

Sakshi was about to keep her hand under tap... saw other hand stopping her looked up gazing into those black concern eyes..... remembering their fight she averted her gaze, "Mei khud karsakthi huh!" Saying she tried to free her hand but Arjun held it firmly yet gentle..."Har baat par zid nahi chalta...mei karrahuh na." Arjun whispered gently removing her bandage.

His concentration was on her hand as it became red and tender due to spilling of hot coffee...while Sakshi gazed at him..."Do din Arjun...ek baar bhi aap mujhse milne nahi aye..." She thought in her mind.

Arjun removing the bandage got shocked seeing deep cut...cleaning with water, "Itna bada gaav kaise lagi?"

Sakshi remembered how when Shree came to meet her, pleading her to open the door...not to give into his pleas gripped the object tightly which made a deep gash...but she avoided to reply Arjun. "Theek hain mat batao..." taking the first aid he applied cream and tied the bandage.

Here in the office room, the team looked at eachother. They knew Arjun care for the team but seeing his attitude towards Sakshi they thought he don't care about her but what they witnessed was totally opposite. "Aaj Arjun sir ke ankhon mei woh dekha joh pehle kabhi nahi dekha." Ayesha mumbled slowly grabbing others attention.

"Haa...chot Sakshi ko lagi lekin dard unke ankhon mei dikhrahi thi....kuch toh hain Sakshi mei ki Arjun sir ko apne taraf keech rahi hain." Liza replied but in all these Riya felt sad as she too observed the emotion in his eyes.

They kept their thoughts aside, and got involved in case, at night when they returned home Sakshi didnot give any baav to them and went inside.

Arpita stopping him, "Arjun...kuch baat huyi tumlogon ki..."

"Kaha...woh mujhe baav tak nahi derahi..." Arjun said as he was trying to talk her, but she only irritated him calling Sir...which he is hating more at the time.

"Humhe kuch nahi sunna Arjun...teen din hogai woh Ann ka ek daana nahi khai..." They said worridely which shocked him.

"Yeh aap kya bolrahe hain, Mom...teendin se kuch nahi khai aur aap mujhe abh bata rahe hain." Arjun asked them in disbelief.

His mother glared at him smacking his hand, "Chup kar....tum hih tey joh uski baaremei kuch sunne keliye tyaar nahi tha..."

Arjun felt guilt, in his run to keep her safe he hurt her the most..... he knew the injury on her hand was also the result of it, increasing his guilt.....went inside and saw her busy reading book. Taking his clothes he got changed.....

Going towards her ...."Sakshi!"

But our sherni royally ignored him ......taking her earphones she place them over her head. "Madam toh bahut gusse mei hain....abh kya karu?"

He sat before her...taking her hand into his.... But Sakshi upset with him removed his hand, "Mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni Arjun...."

"Jaan ek baar mere baath suno Na?" Arjun tried again but Sakshi shook her head...."Nahi....aap mere baat sunhe tey nahi na...toh mei kyu sunhu?"

She got up from the bed going out not listening to his words....even shree and Sameer tried to talk but she didnot listen to their words. Taking place between her father's...."Aaplog kehdijiye unteenon ko mujhe unse koi baat nahi karni...."

"Acha...theek hain baat mat karo...lekin khana toh khalo...dekho kitna pheeke padgai teri chehra." Suryakanth supported her caressing her hairs.

"Mann nahi papa....mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai...mei kal aapse milne ayi kuch pareshaan lagrahe tey aap?" Sakshi diverted asking him.

"Haa...office mei bahut kaam hogai, ek important project mei bahut time lagraha hai.....uska presentation ek mahine mei London mei hoga... Asia ke best companies compete karrahe hain uskeliye.....issliye aajkal hum bahut busy hain...agar woh deal humhe miljayegi toh RR ka ek alag hih naam hoga..." Suryakanth informed her.

"Hum toh yeh project tumhe take-up karne keliye bolnewale tey lekin tum wapas athe ETF join karna chahti issliye kuch nahi bole hum." Rajveer said softly.

Sakshi glanced at her father's who are her inspiration....she knew their wish of her taking up RR mantle one day..."Bas itnisi baat.....abh kya huwa....jaise aap chahte waise hih hoga...mei yeh project take-up karungi." She informed them.

"Par beta ETF aur yeh kaise sambhaloge..."

"Woh mujh par chodiye.....mei karlunga....aur waise bhi mei kaunsa office anewali huh...project ki details or changes mei study karlungi... presentation toh aapdono mei ek denge na...mei office ke baad yaha ajavungi...hum teeno milkar yeh karenge!" Sakshi replied assuring them.

The family smiled seeing her love towards them. Shree who was silent and hurt due to her indifference went to her, but Sakshi avoided to look at him as one look at him her resolve would break....while the family looked on as they knew she wouldn't be angry on him for long time....... Shree being admant kneeled before her taking her hands, "Sakshi ...baat karo mujhse, kab tak naraz rahoge....gussa karo, chahe toh mujhe saza bhi dho.....kuch bhi karo lekin mujhse baat karo." He pleaded in thick voice.

Sakshi looked at him, her resolve weakening..."Mei baat kyu karu tumse, bachpan se aaj tak kuch bhi huwa humsha tum meri aur mei tumhara saath nahi chode, phir aisa kya hogai ki mujhe tumhara saath nahi mila ussdin." As she was more hurt with his silence on that day.

Hearing her Shree looked deflated, while Arjun had guilt face ..... "Batao Shree, kyu kiya tumne aisa....baat mat karo mujhse " saying she tried to free her hand but he didnot leave, in turn hugged her keeping head on lap, "Sorry bhabhi...please mujhe maaf kar dijiye.....mei issliye aisa kiya kyunki bhai mujhe majboor kiya.... apna kasam dekhe.... ki mei beech mei kuch na bolu."

This suprised her, shot a look towards Arjun....nodding in disbelief, she looked down at Shree who is crying, hugging her....felt bad, tears wellep up in her eyes, rufling his hairs..."Chup hojao Shree....mei naraz nahi huh."

She consoled him, Shree looking up asked, "Sacchi!"

"Muchi!" She said playfully but caressed his face kissing on his forehead."Abh yeh rona bandh karo...Beitho mere saath." She made him sit beside and then glared at her husband...."Aur aap Arjun, himmat kaise huyi aapka.... mere Shree ko mere khilaaf khada karne keliye." As she won't allow anyone to come between her and Shree even if it is Arjun, which everyone were very well aware.

"Ayinda aisa kuch mat kijiye aap Arjun, warna mujhse bura koi nahi hoga."

Arjun nodded not to aggravate her as she is already angry on him. The servents informed the family that dinner is ready. The elders again pursuaded but Sakshi nodded in no, "Nahi aaplog kha lijiye...mujhe kuch kaam hain." Saying she left from the hall.

"Kabtak woh aise bina kuch khaye rehegi Arjun tum kuch karthe kyu nahi." Suryakant said to him.

Arjun nodding at him, went towards dinning table. Taking a plate he served food in it, "aap log dinner kijiye, usko mei khilata huh." Saying he took plate upstairs.

He knew she would be at pool side and his intitution was correct as she was standing .. gazing into sky,Keeping the plate on table, he went and stood beside,"Jaan...gussa mujhse hona toh khane par kyu nikhal rahe hoh."

Sakshi dinot reply but her eyes felt wet, avoiding him these two days was difficult but being near to him and avoiding was becoming unbearable to her. "Arjun mei kisise naraz nahi huh...aap jayiye aur dinner khijiye." saying she turned to go but suddenly felt dizzy, noticing it Arjun caught her shoulders steadying her, "Sakshi!"

"Mei theek huh..." she mumbled slowly but Arjun not having her stubborness, took her towards the table, "Gussa mujh par nikhalo....." Kyu tabeeth karab karrahi hoh...kuch toh khalo jaan." Pleading he made her sir and took the plate, bringing his hand towards to make her eat. Taking bite from his hands she took the spoon and forwarded to him, "Aap bhi kuch nahi khaye na yeh dodin." gazing at him with love.

Arjun taking the bite nodded as they both are alike, silently both finished the dinner. Keeping the plate aside he laid on her lap..."Jaan...I am sorry, lekin tumhari bhalai keliye mujhe woh karna pada.....sach kahu toh tumhare bina mera mann hih nahi lagraha tha...office mei."

"Toh manane kyu nahi aye...pata bhi hain kaise guzari mei yeh dodin kamre ke ander." she said running fingers in his hair.

"Issliye kyunki agar manane atha toh tum phirse ETF join karneki zidd karogi...lekin tum phir bhi agai na." Arjun looked at her eyes.

"Mei toh fire hone ke ek ghante ke ander rejoin bhi kiya Arjun, bas aaplogon ko nahi patachala..." Sakshi smiled at him.

"Toh yeh sab drama kyu." Arjun asked her.

Sakshi avoided to reply to him, she didnot want to tell him about the panic attack she was getting remembering about her di, along with her dying in water with no one. The episode with pathan left a deep scar as she saw what he is capable of. "Bas apko sathane keliye...lekin aap aye nahi." She pouted at him

"Hmm...Mana padega...tum joh kehti woh karke dhikati....lekin jaan wada karo apna khayal rakhogi aur kabhi aisa nahi karogi." Arjun asked looking straight into her eyes reading her soul.

Keeping her hand on his, "I promise Arjun, aaj ke baad mei apko bina batai koi mission mei nahi javungi."

It was their relation from childhood, both would get fight, get upset, but get soon patched up, that it would look they didn't fight in the first place... The longest was the one when Sakshi was upset on him when he sent her to London away from him.

Talking about things and how missed her prsence in these twodays, Arjun drifted in to sleep on her lap itself, the place which gives him solace. Noticing it she smiled kissing on his forhead..."Janti huh Arjun aap mujhe lekar bahut possessive hain, aur aapka gussa bhi jayaz tha...par abh nahi hota mujhse aapse dur rehna....har pal aapki saath rehna chahti huh. ETF mei aneka sabse badi karan toh yahi hain ki mei aapsab ke beech rehsakthi...pata nahi aage kya hoga, jiss raah mei hum jaarahe..."

Leaning back she prayed for their family safety. The team again fell into routine while Sakshi was busy balancing between cases and working on the project.

In these time Ayesha and Sameer grew close. So Sameer decided to propose her. He arranged a dinner date with help of sakshi who was on cloud nine as finally her brother was going to propose his lady love. Handing the gift, she said..."Bhai aaj mei bahut kush huh....aap jaldse jald Ayesha ko propose karo aur ghar ki badi bahu banakar lao."

"Acha...kyu ghar ki akeli bahu hone ki zimmedari sab tumpar arrahi issliye?" Sameer teased her setting his tie.

"Haww...aise kaise bolsakthe aap..bhulo mat mei bahu baad mei lekin iss ghar ki beti pehli huh....bahu aur beti dono farz achese nibah raha huh mei....." Sakshi glared at him playfully.

Shaking his head, "Koi tuhje baaton mei hara nahi sakthe...pata nahi Arjun kaise jhel rahe tumhe bachpan se.."

"Jaise bhi huh...waise hih pyaar karthe woh mujhse...aur aap bhi..." Sakshi winked with a teased smile doing a dance before him.

"Pagal...abh mei jao...late horaha hain." He asked knocking her head lightly, "Haa...aur call karke batana kya kahi woh.." sakshi said saying all the best to him.

After his exit, She murmured..."Chalo..bhai ka hogai abh Shree ko bhi apne pyaar ka ehsaas dilane ka time agai...bahut hogai yeh drama.... . Sach mei Liza sahi naam diya, Specky....jitna yeh apne laptop mei ghuske rehte usse agar ek percent bhi ladki par dyaan deti abh tak meri choti devrani ayi hogi."

Her rant was stopped as a hand snaked around her waist, turning her. Sakshi slammed into hard chest kept her hands and looked up, "Arjun...kya karrahe aap."

"Kuch nahi..." He replied causally pulling her more close. Wrapping hands around his neck..."Acha...phir mujhe keecha kyu."

"Kyunki tum badhbatate bahut cute lagrahi thi..." He teased pinching her cheeks.

"Chodiye..mujhe bahut kaam hain." She said with shy smile but our Arjun was clearly in form, "abh kounsa kaam, Sam ko date par bhejdiya...Shree apne doston ke saath bahar gaye......flat mei tum aur mere alawa koi nahi...aur ghar ka kaam bhi hogai...toh batao aisa kounsa kaam baki hain."

Sakshi pouted at him as it's true, "Chodiyena Arjun.." as his closeness was effecting her. Noticing it he smriked while she glared at him cutely.

Not able to control he pecked her pout shocking her whose eyes widened. Chuckling at her traced his hand on her free hair.."bahut din hogai Jaan...ajkal tum bahut busy rehne lagi."

Sakshi nodded keeping leaning to his chest..."haa....woh project final stage mei hain, ek baar woh hojai mei free hojavungi."

"Hmm...aaj chodo yeh sab, mere saath wakt bitao..." Saying he lifted her into his arms, carrying towards their room, to spend quality time.
