Can Bollywood ever make a real Scifi movie?

I am talking about Hollywood movies like Interstellar, which was Scifi movie, but based on real scientific concepts of Time, Space, Black holes etc.... Can Bollywood ever make such a movie? or the general Indian population has not evolved yet to understand such concepts?

If the Indian population wasn't evolved, then films like Avengers wouldn't have made the kind of money it did.

The truth is sci fi is a difficult subject to handle. The director needs to have good knowledge and should be able to find a balance between too much technicality and layman language...so that everyone understands it.

IMHO, Mr. India was a real SciFi movie and exceptionally well made. I count it in the same caliber as ET. It was a kids-oriented, family-friendly flick, but its genuine SciFi.

Although not SciFi, Go Goa Gone was able to show that India could do zombie comedies too.

India will succeed again when they stop trying to imitate western stories but make stories rooted in India.
