Like ashwini ? But even if ashwini was like sai she wud be a loser bec unless the husband is in support of his wife (which sai has in form of virat ) , she holds no power over anyone or anything in her sasural.

They taunt her over her financial status, her education , her parents , literally everything . I understand virat s position also. He asked sai to consider it a challenge , to win his family's heart. Fine. Ashwini was also right . Sai cud be more polite (like she was on her first day of college ) but virat must explain a thing to his family also. May be , try to know what exactly do they expect from sai.

The thing I noticed about TMK is that she does not do it for the sake of discipline or rules and regulations of THE Chavan Khandan. She does it to solely bully and rule the family. She isn't the kind of family head to care for the family and yet rule them. Nope. Not at all.

She just wants to rule for the sake of power. Power is her nasha and she is always high on it.

If you notice, she was only slightly better to Pakhi because she is meek and keeps her mouth shut. But then Sai came in and she started targeting Sai coz Sai stands strong against her. She fights full force because Sai won't give in.

Basically, everyone is the same for TMK. Nobody is her chaheeta/chaheeti but just pawns in her game.

I think that would change if elder of the family treat you the way they treat sai

I dont think most girl with education and up bringing like sai would tolerate anyone who would disrespect them her father in law had it coming

And if virat can't make his father shut up and firmly say to his father that he should talk with respect with his wife and mother

He have no right what so ever to tell sai to keep quite

Its mostly the upbringing. If you are educated but your parents keep teaching you that 'try to adjust' and 'keep compromising' you would do that because you have learnt that.

Sai grew up with her dad who told her not to compromise and never tolerate the wrongs of anyone against anyone.

Ditto!

If the elders start treating their bahus as glorified maids , I dont know why the bahus should be respectful towards them , and wait for the time when they will change. Education is every person's right as per the constitution. Filthy rich households can employ servants for cooking and cleaning rather than expecting the bahus to stay uneducated , sit at home and serve them. If it was only bahu duties which sai had to fulfill , she cud have easily grinded the peppers tomatoes and ginger in the mixer grinder and get done with it. What's with torturing her ? It was nothing short of domestic violence and mental harrassment .

There r 3 serials on sp with similar families...... Shaurya wala serial , his family is like that , they don't want their bahus to work after marriage . Anupama's life was toppled for this very reason , she just doesnt know where to draw the line. Not just her in laws and husband but her own children started treating her like a doormat. All bec a perfect bahu has to show respect to the elders and husband . Anyways she doesnt have a life of her own..sorry for digressing .

Sai on the other hand deals with her in laws boldly and this quality sets her apart.

Omg i loved loved todays episode

They way sai talked to her father in law 👏 you go girl

He deserves it 😆

Omg lol and whatever you all say

I think its high time indian tv get over this age value stuff

If you are bad you are bad

You can't be excused for your behavior just because you are old

After todays episode I can't wait for when sai to confront his again for always disrespecting his wife ( virat's mother )🤣

I just can't wait for virat being jealous

That's true but I have seen alot of women who have grown up with that mentality and have unlearned that after knowing better

There are alot women out there who have grown up with oppression but have walked away from it and taken a stand for themselves

There is this thing... Its a threshold. After a certain limit people with tolerable mentality also give up and burst open. They unlearn because they realize that compromising so long it gives them no happiness or peace. People start to question if it is worth it. Sai know to question it, but people around her (Virat and Ashwini) are trying to coax her otherwise. But relationships cannot be just broken over these things and doesn't mean you leave the house.

Actually Sai needs to learn how to deal with this family. She can be blunt and brutal but doesn't necessarily mean that she needs to be utterly disrespectful. She will eventually get a hang of it.

Not just her but Virat also. Tomorrow everyone is going to blame Virat for Sai's "bad behaviour".
