I agree with EK on his stand for Rakhi , but fact is multiple times the housemates said the word ‘achuth’ which is a directly derogatory/slang term for the caste and Eijaz confirmed that is exactly what he meant by saying ‘ I know what I said and I stand by it ‘ and rakhi herself has used that word. This word shouldn’t be used by any of them because of it’s history of repression, slavery and humiliation.
Fact is Nikki has given makeup and clothes to Rakhi if she actually thought like that she wouldn’t even sip from the same cup or eat food made by her. She’s just being a nasty vile person towards her that’s the end of that, it’s nothing to do with caste and more to do with elitism. Marathi par itna jhaada tha, caste par kuch bhi hosakta hai, better to be careful with words.
The problem should be focussed on for sure and not swept under the rug, hopefully it will be brought up on wkv as only then it works on Nikki. I’m sure she’s gonna get bashed badly for it deservedly!
You explained it well. I can see your point of view. I didn't see it as comment on caste. if he meant that then he shouldn't. I was only referring that her treatment & demeanor is like she is better than rest.especially towards rakhi. thats all.
