First of all though, it is really nice of Jasmin treating her parents to annual vacations. I know she comes from an upper middle class family. Her dad is a businessman who owns or has a very senior position in a company and her mom was a teacher I believe so they can afford a good lifestyle but as a child you always want to treat your parents to the best esp if you become very successful . Jasmin has worked almost continuously since her entry into tv 5 years ago mostly in lead or parallel lead roles in soaps except for Naagin 4 and this is her third reality show since KKK9. She also did several movies in South India before entering tv. She even bought her own place a few years ago.

She says she grew up in a large extended/ joint family in Kota. I think her family moved to Delhi a few years ago. Had no idea her parents visit her in Mumbai every Christmas and New Years as her mom said in her written interview today as she rarely posts with them. They and her brother, and especially her dad are fairly active on FB but don't see lots of posts with her over the years. In 2019 going into 2020 I know she went to Aly's hometown to ring in New Years with him and his family and friends. Her parents visited her most recently for Divali 2019 I believe and she has gone to see them a few times over the years. It was strange that after the lockdown and doing KKK Made in India when she had a gap of a few months before BB14 she choose to go on a road trip with Aly and his actor friends ( now her friends too ), Arjit Taneja and Charu and then hanging out in Mumbai with Aly and friends instead of going to see her parents. Even after BB she and Aly were talking about going to Iceland but who knows she may see her parents before any other trip. Don't know if there are any health issues in the family so she is keeping away for safety reasons in this time of Covid and besides not everything is posted on social media. We only see a snap shot of their lives

Shesay she has always been very close to her paternal grandma. Her mom said in this interview her grandma is in her eighties, can't hear but watches her every day on tv commenting on how pretty she looks. So that is really sweet:) Jasmin said years ago the best love story she knows is her grandparents one. They loved each other as teenagers but got separated during the partition and other issues and after years apart fought against all obstacles to be together and she saw that the same type of unwavering love till her grandfather passed. She even posted a pic with her grandma and said her grandma taught her to be strong and independent. (Wonder what her grandma would think when she says the basis of her and Aly's relationship is she always gives in to him because he is always right and anything he says happens or when he shouts at her in anger and she instantly keeps quiet backs off or cries and constantly running to calm him down when he loses his temper with others or constantly "correcting" or "advising" her as if she is a child with no mind of her own) Since his reentry you don't see that anymore but you don't just suddenly change such ingrained dominant controlling behaviour and suddenly not have a bad temper anymore so I don't know- maybe found out audience not liking his dominating behaviour and so acting differently now)

Jasmin has said her family is conservative . Also many of her family's friends seem to be from their own community and her male relatives wear the turban etc . She also prays to Waheguru every day etc . So not sure how her family will accept Aly and if he and his family will require her to convert so maybe that is why keep talking about family approval . But then again her mom keeps saying Aly is a good friend and support so who knows might do like many do nowadays, saying as long as Jasmin is happy we are happy.

Celebs are a strange breed . You see male celebs with multiple "best friends" over the years and these " friends" happily hang out with the male celeb's family who praise them/ hang out with them . Then they are out the door and another "best friend" comes along right after and the male celeb and his family suddenly cut ties with the former" best friend" who was once so special to them and starts " praising the new "best friend" without missing a beat

To be honest as a long time fan of Jasmin, there is just something about Aly that does not sit right with me no matter how good he portrays himself to be . There is just a negative vibe about him . He wants to come across as a good very moral ethical guy full of integrity saying he respects Jasmin's parents and freaks out when Rahi calls Jasmin his girlfriend but they are constantly in suggestive positions, too physically close for friends on national tv and with the other HMs close by, watching . Maybe they think it is highly unlikely Jasmin's family or relatives would watch the live feed but of course all over the internet and the media picking up the stories and you can't control what will be shown in promos and episodes though maybe in their contracts have a clause will not show these pda moments on tv . Even if you have confessed I find the pda cringy esp as there are other people looking on nearby. I mean you have know each other for 2.5 years constantly hung out but can't control yourselves now. It seems strange for people who were adamant about labelling their relationship as best friends to suddenly go all out with pda on national tv with other people (HMs) who are relative strangers looking on. Is it part of the script>

Maybe they were dating outside and Aly and Jasmin knew based on the rumours BB was calling them for a romantic angle. Wanted to maintain best friends angle maybe admitting like each other and transition into couple but BB flipped the script asking the former contestants etc to constantly tease them about the relationship, talking about a proposal for marriage. I have noticed in indian soaps there is nothing like meeting, dating, and then marriage. It's meeting and then marriage. Shippers are also obsessed with when their fav celeb couples are going to get married and want to see the proposal on bended knee because that makes for better viewing than just saying we like each other and are going to start dating or even admitting you are dating. Some even exchange rings or actually get married on these shows. Rubinav were even joking about this with Aly and Jasminin the LF today .Jasmin maybe took all this as an opportunity to pressure Aly to make the relationship public and propose marriage and certainly BB supporting it so Aly is forced to go along with the script and to save his image. Also does not want to lose the benefits of a girlfriend/ wife/ best friend he gets from Jasmin so after a lot of back and forth finally says he loves her and proposes marriage. If you have to drag these things out of your boyfriend or someone who says they too have suddenly realized their feelings for you that is a big red flag. Also the turn around was super quick- in a few weeks.He is still a young guy (29), relatively unknown and early in his career, still building himself up financially and has had a series of exs . Some think he is good looking apparently and he is also charming and charismatic and humourous- seems like a bit of a player/ ladies man so does he really want to suddenly settle down soon? Though the confusing thing is now that after the confession he keeps talking marriage or bffs saying he does not want to date first. Wouldn't you want to see if you are compatible as a couple first before jumping into marriage?

So what to you think ? Will they

a) actually get married next year a few months after getting out of the house or

b) stay together for a few more years before eventually getting married or

c) stay together for a few more years and then break up or

d) break up next year shortly after leaving the house or

e) this is all a massive hoax/ scripted drama for ratings and for which they are well paid and they are really just good friends who are pretending they have fallen in love after being away from each other due to Big Boss and pretending they want to get married and soon.

I know one tv actress got engaged to her boyfriend of a few months in NB .After the show she admitted it was all part of the show/ entertainment and they were not really engaged. He borrowed a ring from someone on the set. They had also broken up. Two singers also did the same sort thing on their song collab making people believe they had fallen in love while shooting and were going to start dating then admitted it was all for the promotions .

But somehow as a long time fan of Jasmin I can't still can't imagine Jasmin doing this. However I never thought I would also see her publicly displaying her love life like this either. She has always said my private life is private and I am single till I have a ring on my finger. But she really seems to have changed since she met Aly. Actually she always seems really needy, deperate, insecure and clingy in relationships. She admits she needs constant ( assurances of love). She was the same way with her ex positng a quote saying tell me that you love me miss me dream of me and tagging him. She seems to totally lose herself in relationships and will loose her self self respect if she has to just ot please hold on to her partner. Aly is dominating so he loves a submissive partner. Really quite disturbing. Also fights are expected / scripted in BB but the way she prolongs fights, the surprising meanness with which she fights, never truly apologizing , justifying her actions and if the same is done to her crying foul is really really disappointing

I tried sincerely till the grandma para then realized there was a whole biography, itna kaun padhega.

Jasmin ne utna kaam nahi kiya hoga jitna bada essay likh diya. Who but PR can have so much time. Essay competition on Bhasin announced. Winners will get the chance to be ridiculed and schooled by Rubina and Aly. Entries must be at least 10 pages long and must put people to sleep.

Honestly even I read 5-6 lines and realised it’s pr lol.
