I think Mihir found out truth of real tulsi(smriti irani) is probably live, so he's just acting front of family that he's with mandira and etc... he's trying to get to real tulsi so hes acting all this maybe gautmi myte go and tell tulsi and mihir follow him..

In Ekta Land anything is possible. I have stopped trying to find sense in this serial a long back.

I have a feeling Mihir is using Mandira for something and is on his one of his exposure trips.
Could be related to old Tulsi. Remember how he had exposed Meera .
