I think it's a mixture of all four options...

What I feel is:

Vanraj is missing Anu's presence in his life, as well as his family after going to Kavya, so he's trying to weasle his way back into her life through emotional blackmail

Yeah because after all he never actually planned to go live with Kavya, he wanted to stay with Anu and Shah family... it's only because Bapuji (the most underrated character in this show tbh ⭐️) threw him out that he went to Kavya's house
