I used to love this show the most that time!

And you know who were the leads Aham Sharma (Karna, Mahabharat 2014) and Yami Gautam (Vicky Donor), when they were just 18!

However, they did get recognition because this show ran hardly for a year I guess!

Even the Channel NDTV Imagine used to be my favorite at that time, but unfortunately shut down....

Dayan song is mine fav also.....along with dayan song dilruba bg music also used to give me goosebumps.....btw i find nazar sarpika music much better than whole nagin series tune

Yes chand ke paar chalo was her first show as producer but i dont knw why she always says that geet is first show as producer

I have watched many imagine shows but i never ever watched this show infact i got to knw that there is some show called chand ke paar chalo on imagine after somewhere i read that it was gul first show

Aham sharma is another very talented actor who is not getting any show.... I dont knw why....i liked his acting in mahabharat nd manmarzian a lot

@aleyamma47 at that imagine was also my fav channel along with star one....i used to like their reality shows alot along with colors khatron ke khiladi

Nd my mom used to watch their fictions alot like do hanso ka joda, beend banunga ghodi chadunga, jamunapaar, sarvgunn sampanna, palkon ki chav me, meerabai ,kashi etc

Colors nd imagine launched in same yr but i liked imagine shows more than colors (except khatron ke khiladi) but colors get success whereas imagine closed in 2010

See, when Parineeta was given this role, she said in an interview that after 25, it is very difficult for a FEMALE ACTOR, to get a role other than being MOTHERS of LEADS!

Which was very true in her case, because she has entered she has always got such roles mostly I guess!

In Bepannah, she played mother to Harshad Chopda who is HER AGE, infact MONTHS OLDER THAN HER!

I think this is Parineeta's FIRST LEAD ROLE!

And that is one of the reasons, why GB is not that SUCCESSFUL.

Most of the main actors are not very POPULAR except for Hiten and Sonal to a certain extent (however she is not popular, like Shivangi or Erica or Divyanka)

Others Akash (Alok) has done few films which are uncredited, Satya has only done 2 shows earlier (one antagonist, other minor role), Meet (Rajat) has done a lot of roles in fact have been lead too, but he is not a POPULAR CHILD FACE and Aishwarya (Aditi) too has done a lot of shows but almost of them are minor or uncredited.

In short, this show has very mediocre actors which was ONE OF THE REASONS which attracted me to it!

I have seen Parineeta acting in Swaragini, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Bepannah and now Gupta Brothers! 😳

Btw my mother watches this show in marathi so i can say that there are 2 phases for lead girl first one is childhood nd other is adulthood....childhood phase is for only 10-12 episodes after that grownup lead takes place so i dont knw who is gonna play which phase

She can play teen phase as she is just 13. Saloni is 19.

Cuz in this era there is unlimited Internet to spread everything thing easily. In 80s 90s 00s there were no internet spread like this. Uttar Ramayan and Mahabharat Katha would have been biggest spin-offs then and were recognised by non-internet population.

Yeah thats true but many thinks that DBO was first spinoff bcoz dbo commercialised concept of spin off
