Btw my mother watches this show in marathi so i can say that there are 2 phases for lead girl first one is childhood nd other is adulthood....childhood phase is for only 10-12 episodes after that grownup lead takes place so i dont knw who is gonna play which phase

Both Parica were chosen for their POPULARITY, Parth was the then POPULAR YOUTH ICON, due to his Kaisi hai yariyaan fame and Erica was really popular because of KRPKAB Seasons 1 & 2. However, b4 Erica, Shewta (Prerna 1)'s daughter, was offered the role.

Dbo was not itv first spinoff at all
I think shakala boom boom was first to introduce spinoff with jadoo high
Then there is sanjivani who introduced dill mill gaye
But it was DBO who gave recognition to spinoffs after dbo producers started doing spinoff be it kundli, yrhpk or yhc
This poor girl was body shamed and insulted a lot. But it would be more nice if she lost weight on her own for health purpose not by listening to others. She is only 19 but looks more younger after weight loss.
She had quite a prominent role in YJHJK, not any lead but still was an important role. And also the voiceover of the narrator in that show!
