We knew that Star Bharat's Gupta Brothers is loosely based on 'Pandian Stores' right. Just now Kinshuk Mahajan and Shiny Doshi's upcoming show's teaser has been launched but in Starplus not in Star Bharat. And the show name is 'Pandya Stores' which is the 2nd hindi remake of 'Pandian Stores'. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING !!!!!

But isse accha they remake international shows too right. Atleast Kdramas if not American dramas.

Years ago they made a show BFFs on Channel V loosely based on Pretty Little Liars. They could have remade it now on Starplus. Ye sab regional remake se toh bohot accha hota dekhne mein.

How could actors agree to be part of a show whose remake already running in same language? Looks like both Kinshuk and Shiny badly need to be back in any show. This new show is shifted to SP because SB shows are getting low TRPs. If not for low TRPs how could they show 2 hindi remake of a south show on the same channel?

Honestly we are yet to know the capabilities of ITV producers because they are not given a proper chance to execute their imagination properly on television (not talking about Gul, Rajan, Rashmi and EK). After watching shows like Beyhadh, Kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi, Kahaan hum kahaan tum, Bepannah and now currently Story 9 Months Ki etc shows i feel they can do much better if their shows are kept away from the trp race. Channels like Sony & Sab always encourages producers to execute their ideas, Starplus tried in 2019 but failed and now they are running remade family dramas for trps, Zee & Colors are the two unwanted channels on ITV in this case. 😆

And the most horrible thing is they(Ek) remade a wonderful kdrama but ruined it with nonsense. Eg:Kaisi yeh yaariaan. It might be super popular but it the worst version of Hana yori dango

They can make Brilliant things if they want. But seeing Fatmagul and Aski Memnu remakes I am not sure. Sony does have wonderful shows like Mere dad ki dulhan, Yeh Pyar nahi toh kya hai, and the most recent Story nine months ki. But most sony shows are abruptly ended.

Fatmagul remake was going well as they followed original properly but due to low ratings it was 1st modified like other Indian TV shows and then ended. Among 4 Star Dophar shows 3 better shows were ended while 1 show where ML forcibly married FL and then along with his family imposed regressive rules on her was shifted to evening slot as it got better ratings. Such is mentality if viewers. Dil Sambhalja Zara was going well too but our Indian viewers can't see a FL wearing short dresses after marriage and cheating on her old hubby with his young nephew so there too I heard they omitted showing some of the things or made changes. It ended on cliffhanger as per an article and it's sequel never came. Remember what happened to POW and Dehleez. Both were ended before time due to low ratings. Don't even get me started on what happened to Aarambh.

Underlined-Hmm. Both were wonderful shows. Didnot watch POW regularly but was a fan of Dehleez. It had a wonderful and clean script. It may have ended too soon but it is a gem.

Italics-Hmm. They had an interesting concept and brilliant actors but trp race killed it

Are you sure about this news? Because how is it even possible?

Because already one REMAKE is ONGOING, then how can they make another in the MIDDLE OF THAT?

Can any NETWORK be that BONKERS?

Because, atleast the remakes of Ishti Kutum was made in a time period difference of 5 years.

And as Gul Khan had promised, there is A DIFFERENCE IN FILMING MADE IN MOHI AND IMLI, which is resulting in the CHANGE OF IT'S RECEPTION too I guess
