This is my take on that hair tie scene. TBH if someone had cut my scrunchie I would have been mad. So thought of penning it down. It's bit 16+
Scrunchies
Riddhima was getting ready for the New Year party. Suddenly Vansh came and started tying the knots of the dress. Through mirror they exchanged glances and smiles.
Aren’t you getting too bold? Leaving your dress half open like this…what if it wasn’t me but someone else?
Riddhima gave a challenging look towards Vansh and said
I was waiting for you only. Besides who would dare to walk on Vansh Raisighania’s wife while she is dressing up? That too, you being just in the walk in closet?
Vansh smirked. He definitely hit a jackpot when it comes to his wife. Just equally smart and challenging as he is.
Vansh bent down and whispered gently on her ears
No one. Even if they do they wouldn’t be alive to tell what they saw.
They both smiled at each other.
Riddhima turned towards him and gave her brightest of smile to Vansh
Tell me how I am looking. Just few last minute things left but almost done I am.
Vansh looked at her from top to bottom. Only if they didn’t have to attend the party. His wife wouldn’t be standing here but writhing on the bed under him naked while her gorgeous sparkling dress would be thrown somewhere in the room. But he couldn’t skip the party being a host. Could he ?

Before Riddhima could properly ask Vansh took out his pocket knife and cut off her scrunchie.
His wife’s silky hair cascaded down to her waist and he couldn’t feel more attracted towards her.
Satisfied with his work he looked at his wife only to find her spitting fire through her eyes.Wait, what just happened? Wasn’t she all smiling just a second before?
What have you done Vansh? Riddhima almost spitted fire with her tongue.
I like your hair open, how many times I would have to tell you? Vansh tried to retaliate thoughhe was stupefy to see Riddhima so angry.
I know !! Riddhima almost screamed. I just told you few changes left. I would have kept my hair open. What was the need to cut my scrunchie????
Vansh looked at herc onfused
What’s your point here Riddhima? You wanted to keep your hair open and I just did that.
Vansh stated as a matter of fact.
Point is that was my favorite scrinchie. And you do not mess with someone’s favorite scrunchie.
Riddhima told Vansh poking at his chest with her finger.
What???? Vansh couldn’t have thought anything so lame even in his worst situation. He wanted to shake Riddhima saying it’s just a damn satin scrunchie, not any diamond solitaire that he took off. But seeing Riddhima all fired up, he decided against it. He tried to calm Riddhima down but she just took two step backward making a distance between them
Don’t you dare to touch me.
Vansh couldn’t be more perplexed.

Damn you scrunchie!!! Vansh cussed.
If he knew one damn scrunchie would cost him his wife he would have never went towards her today.
Vansh took up another shot of vodka and gulped it in one go. He remembered everything that had happened since bedroom fiasco. Riddhima had royally ignored him all through the party. She kept talking to his business associate. He could read in their eyes how they were mesmerized by his wife’s beauty and he couldn’t tolerate it a bit. He had swiftly went beside her and kept his hand on her waist to mark his territory. But Riddhima swiftly moved away to avoid his touch and she has been doing it since then. She even refused to dance with him rather opted for Angre for dancing.
Vansh gritted histeeth. If only it wasn’t for Angre, he would have ripped the hand that touched his wife while he was unable to.
Everything okay boss?
Speaking of the devil and devil is here. Vansh looked at Angre with all the spite he had been feeling.
Enjoyed a lot while dancing with my wife, didn’t you ? Vansh couldn’t help the word to stop before uttering.
Angre widened his eyes like soccer. He knew Vansh’s obsession for his wife but he had no idea he would be his target. Before Angre could say anything Vansh spoke
I am sorry Angre. I didn’t mean that. I am just upset with few things.
Vansh gave up. On asking he told Angre what’s bothered him.
Angre couldn’t have widened his eyes further.

Now what that tone Angre. What’s with you?
You never touch a girl’s favorite scrunchie, let alone cut it in half. No wonder bhabi is pissed with you.

I tell you not bhai,Angre took the seat beside and started narrating how Ishani almost killed him with her bare hands just because he misplaced her srunchie.
I didn’t know you are afraid of your wife so much . Vansh scoffed.
Me neither, Angre said absent mindly.
Angre !!! Vanshgrowled.
Realizing his mistake Angre hurriedly tried to cover the situation.
What do you plan to do boss?
I don’t know. If I knew this would happen, forget about touching her scrunchie , I would rather get her a mountain of scrunchie.
Immediately both the boys looked at each other knowing exactly what they needed to do.

Riddhima was standing in front of her room. During the party she had stayed back with dadi mostly and even went to her room in the pretext of helping her as she couldn’t wait till 12am. She was miffed with Vansh. But truth to be told, she was terribly missing him. She even cursed herself for getting miffed over such a small issue. Didn’t just now she got her Vansh back? How can she even think of going away from him. Besides there are only few minutes left for the new year so she didn’t want to start the year with some stupid fight. She was looking for Vansh when chachi told her she had seen him going towards their room . And thus, Riddhima was in front of her room to meet her Vansh
She entered the pitch black bedroom. If Vansh was here why the room was so dark? She motioned the lights to go on and as soon as it was on Riddhima got her biggest surprise of her life.
There are atleast 100+packets of bundle satin scrunchies dumped all over the floor in every color and pattern possible on earth. And between all of them there stands his husband ,looking proud of what he has managed to accomplice
What have you done Vansh?
I didn’t know your favorite type so called for every type available . Angre is bringing some more.
Are you mad?
Now what have I done? Earlier you shouted because I cut your scrunchie, now you are shouting because I got you scrunchie? What do you want Riddhima?
Riddhima didn’t know what to say. It’s true her husband is not predictable but this was heights. Riddhima ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Vansh relaxed and hugged her back immediately. He missed his wife period.
Now that’s what Ilike. Can’t stay away from you Riddhima .

The clock chimed telling them there are only few minutes left for new year. Riddhima broke the hug and tugged him along with her but Vansh stood rooted to his place.
We need to go downstair Vansh. We are the host. Riddhima spoke knowing very well why her husband wasn’t moving.
Angre can handle.Chachu is there. I missed my wife and now I want to have her every damn second for me only.
Knowing it will be futile to argue, she said
Okay at least wait for few minutes. It says if you kiss at 12am, your bond gets stronger.
Oh Riddhima. Kissing someone at 12 is a very old way to celebrate new year. Trust me I have other ways in mind to celebrate 12 am with you.
Vansh smirked.
Before Riddhima could say anything Vansh pulled her towards him and started kissing her. He was pulling her dress down when suddenly Riddhima stopped him
You aid Angre was coming. I didn’t lock the door. What if he saw us like this.
Riddhima, it’s hurting my ego that you are thinking of another man while we are this close.
Vansh almost growled.
Vansh !! RIddhimaglared.
Okay I already messaged Vansh when I realized you are in front of the room not to disturb us and not to let anyone come towards our room. I would be busy with you.

Riddhima’s rant would have continued if Vansh didn’t silenced her with his kiss. Her rants can be dealt later. Now he needs his wife.
Soon all their clothes were discarded and the room was filled with their moans. It was exact 12 when Vansh filled her up and she almost screamed his name in ecstasy.
Perfect celebration for the new year.
Vansh thought amusingly while making love to his wife in every possible way he knew.
