Can Shahid be counted as a bankable star? Why/why not?

Shahid is a fabulous actor, but somehow luck has not favored him at the box-office. He's had major flops, far more than hits, and his record is not that good.

Coming to Kabir Singh, it appealed to the latent misogyny in the masses...plus it was craftily made. Shahid's performance was the icing on top of the cake.

But he has to deliver more hits and be more consistent to be labelled a bankable star IMO. One swallow does not make a summer.
