Well when he is suddenly told he has a new pappa on her mothers anniversary he wont we to pleased.

I think preesha will jave explained things to him and his reaction is him playing along OR she catches him jist in time to explin things and he calms down.

I think by this stage (the precap) Preesha has already explained to Saransh and this is him acting along as you said.
