I agree with you. π I think dramas are mirror of the society. Focussing in one part of a woman's life isn't good. Because women have many things to do in their lives a part from marriage. I felt happy watching Ehd E Wafa , because Dua completed her studies first, then got married.. and had a job. Just like many women in our society which their lives have many aspects. I feel disappointed when they show that a girl has to give up on her studies to get married, or can't continue her job after marriage. Most of Pakistani dramas show that women have to stay at home after marriage. Dramas like Ehd E Wafa , Kashf and Tajdeed E Wafa are rare. π
Most of drama viewers are housewives. Drama makers care about TRPs only, that's why they build dramas on married life. π To plz the majority of viewers they show the minority in bad light , like sisters in law , modern girls , or even working ladies.π
Yeah.. Producers needs to cater to their target audience which in this case are housewives. Older men have very lil interest in drama, their focus is 24x7 news (at least that's how my dad/uncles areπ) and younger generation has OTT platforms where they can get whatever they want. So TV is left alone for ladies at home specifically stay-at-home moms or non-working women. They feel connected to these gharelu concepts, closer to their life experiences.
I couldn't believe that he fell in love with her.
but your thoughts are scary.
What if that was true!
Daasi has a similer mother too.
Those highclass buisnesswomen and their standards..
I am glad that there are also good examples in few dramas like: Amanat , and Dulhan (it is still running ) .
But it turned out to be good.
