If you wanted to say this, you could've said this without picking on one line of my post.

What I said was cricket requires MORE hard work. This doesn't mean acting doesn't require any hard work, it does but less than being a cricketer

But if it's a boy, then it would raise this question, that is he going to become a cricketer like his father, or an actor like his mother?

Both fields have alot of fame. Cricket can give more fame, but it also requires more hard work and has less longevity.

What do you predict?

And yes,

Nepotism Rocks!!!??

Actor . It’s easiest profession. Being born with so much money and growing up around rich kids and esp Bollywood kids , it’s hard to obtain hard work and work ethic or the hunger to prove yourself...even if the kid’s born with some athletic talent .

Mommy will use BW connections for the kid - they have their own production house aneways. Papa is gonna pump monies into kids BW career. Easy-peasy.

Nepotism is ALMOST everywhere, since its the bollywood industry it's an easy target.

Arjun Tendulkar has an easy accesss to enter sports though there are many other people who play better than him (I'm not saying he's bad)

@bold- I agree, most of them are just paid for jhoothi tareef

That is true tbh...

Even for getting university seats India there are "recommendations", employee quotas, donations and such nonsense which is basically just glorified nepotism... it's just that if someone fails their engineering degree after getting in through donation, that's it- they've failed. Similar to how if they don't make the try outs for a sports team, that's it- they aren't on the team. Though it's undeniable that they may have taken the seat/resources from someone more deserving, in studies and sports, nepos have to meet at least a basic bench mark...

In an artistic and PR-dependant thing like acting, the definition of "good" acting can be blurred a lot, stories/roles/costars can play a huge role in giving someone success, and of course the chaploos media are payed to hype them to get certain people to get them fans, all of which helps a lot of highly inadequate nepo kids stay afloat, (and succeed if they're lucky).

In fact the problem with this field is that is that the definition itself of inadequacy can be questioned, as acting talent, looks (and even more so) "screen presence", "charm", etc. are et the end of the day... though most people may agree that Alia is an average looker and actress with no charm or presence, kjo and chaploos gang can forever insist that she is the most beautiful and best actress with more charm and presence than all her contemporaries... as all these things are subjective at the end of the day, unlike academic or sporting ability.

Though on another note I had no idea till now that Sachin Tendulkar's son was even a cricketer 😲

Mujhe lagta hai they would want their kid to be good in both the professions cricket/acting then let him/her choose what he/she wants😆

What hardwork Arjun Kapoor does? Or Ananaya or Sara ( except gymming)

I don't know😆

Maybe they do work hard, but they don't show us.

I really thought k kuch mehnat to karte hi honge🧐

Edit: the only hard work I can imagine is being on diet and not able to have your fav food, making yourself ready/comfortable for any kind of scenes......
