It is in some ways refreshing to see Kaira living separately. While they have plenty of flaws no doubt, it is still nice that they have some room to breathe and room to grow and room to make mistakes and room to experiment without 10 people constantly judging , commenting on what they eat for breakfast to how they dress. Its nice to see them for once focusing on their own lives rather than solving world problems. It will be actually nice if they take this a step further and show Karthik working and Naira working and they managing a normal life. I think it will bring back some simplicity and normalcy in this serial and that would really be a huge achievement for this show- just to show normal!

I'll have to disagree. YRKKH was always about family. It's centred around one couple but the stories are lived through different characters in their large Marwaadi families.

I agree it's nice that they've cut back on harsh judgments now, but they did that by cutting down the whole family altogether. Singhania's too were strict, judgmental, & socially conscious. But they grew with Akshara so the negativity was never long lasting. But currently, neither Naira ever grows nor Goenka's. So CVs keep distancing them like with the current track to add some fake freshness.
