Mumbai, April 03: So Aishwarya Rai is the highest paid actress, but that does not make her No 1. Interestingly the race for the No 1 spot has two leading Bollywood babes, Katrina and Kareena as front-runners.

Well we are no one to judge, but did anyone say that Katrina Kaif had five hits in a row. The news is no speculation, its true that though the actress might not have given her best performances in all these movies, the flicks have certainly made big bucks at the box-office. These movies were such super hits that one can name them in a breath. From Namastey London, where the actress for the first time dubbed her own voice to Apne, Partner, Welcome and now Race, the actress has surely proved her mettle.

Looking at Bebo, one might think that she is making more headlines for her off- screen roles like being the arm candy of Saif Ali Khan, but wait, remember 'Jab We Met'. The movie was undoubtedly one of the best movies of the year 2007. The movie presented Kareena in an all-new avatar. In an avatar that could act. The actress not only bagged the best actress award in numerous award functions, but also became one of the highest paid actresses in tinsel town.

So, then who has the edge? If you think it's Kareena… you might not be wrong, but you are not all that right too. The actress has been flying a little too high, in terms of price we mean. According to reports, the actress post 'Jab We Met' has been demanding a package of Rs 6 crore. Whereas, Katrina is slightly more grounded when it comes to pricing.

One wonders, what is Kareena spending such big bucks on. Looking at her Size Zero figure, it's not food that the actress seems to be spending on nor is it the clothes. As far as diamonds, planes or other materialistic stuff goes that the celebrities seem to splurge on, Bebo already has it all, thanks to her loving beau Saif Ali Khan.

Hmmm Katrina or Kareena one thing we can assure you of is that the movie shall be surely worth your money...

Seriously how many films has she signed after Jab we met?Salman's Deepika reject 'Mr and Mrs Khanna'..will he pay her 6 crores?Sharukh will he pay her 1.5 crores???(a la Katrina) for an item number she is forced to share with Deepika..

The desperate media hype is almost laugh inducing.

i think kareena is far better than Katrina in acting. Katrina's movies were hits but not because of her. It was all due to the male leads. i dunno y katrina is getting all the credit. that girl cant even act so i think kareena is far better and jab we met is not the only good movie of her that we have seen.

If one is young drop gorgeous and has a heart warming smile, they just dance their way into the audiences hearts and the actors producers,media and the drooling audiences persue them relentlessly.

For 10 long years people have been whining that Aishwarya Rai is plastic,cant act(all true perhaps)-but are the dazed audience in darkened cinema halls with a foolish smiles on their faces paying any attention!

The rest simply need to have much much more talent, work harder,and shout louder for attention.
