I hope that's true. But believe it or not , even Archie was an extremely morally rigid character in the beginning of Ishti Kutum. Here Aditya was flirting with Imlie in Pakdandiya. Waisa mein nehi kahe rahi hu , twitter , Instagram mein sab bol rahe hai..gaon mein to iske age piche ghum raha tha , sahar ake kya ho gaya..
At least twice inspite of her complete reluctance and her trying to wiggle out of it with some excuse or saying no directly , he forced her to give him company , once he went to a completely pointless matchmaking fair which he suddenly found so interesting that he apparently just had to see it and also he couldn't go there all alone because he's a damsel in distress , other time he made her accompany him to Chandu. Banda koi mauka hath se nehi choda to thopo his company on her.
These were not shown like that in Ishti Kutum.
So agar Archie aise palat hakta hai, to Aditya kya cheese hai.
I personally think making it like ishti kutum will be a disaster. Such type of stories don't work for hindi audience. That's why mohi ended up on logical note.
Ishti Kutum though extremely controversial was also highly well regarded for tribal woman empowerment and tribal village empowerment and struggle themes . It won several awards over the period of its extremely long run. Also it went on for nearly 1400 episodes and created record in ratings history and consistently was in top 5 almost in it's entirety.
There is a reason this keeps getting made and remade .
But yes it's execution and themes worked at that time 2011 upwards , but 9 years since passed and entertainment industry has passed through a literal revolution. I completely agree that viewers are not going to digest some of the things they digested at that time.
Also , doing it the Mohi way won't work either. Let me remind you that Mohi was a huge flop , couldn't even complete 200 episodes with such disastrous ratings whereas IK went on for 1400 episodes.
Here also the same thing will happen.
No body gives a shit about Aditya Malini. No body wants to see them together. Already people are fed up of Aditya Moon. I watch online so I always royally skip their scenes but what about viewers who are watching on tv , first they will patiently wait for Adilie. Then they will get annoyed and change the channel to start watching something else, logon ke pass ajkal choice hi choice hai. Meri social media inept Ammi bhi ajkal sirf mobile pe movies or shows dekhte hai 😆
Aditya Malini se kam banta to Mohi se hi banta , Imlie banane ki jarurat nehi padti.. it's not even a speculation what could happen , we already know and have seen exactly what will happen if they dare to go that way.
If Aditya marries moon and she remains a nice woman producers will face severe backlash from audience. Also there will be immense hatred for adilie for ruining moon's life.
Oh believe me , there were severe backlashes at that time too. There were entire extreme hate groups on both teams in facebook and there were huge amount of online outcry .
Pad kisine dekhna nehi choda , shows ratings only increased which enabled the makers to continue with this shit because at the end of the day that's what they care about right ? Ratings.
And that hasn't changed till now either.
It's better that they bring another hero for Imlie or redeem adi for better. His behaviour is way too offensive for audience to bear. Poor Imlie, the way she was being neglected for being a maid and poor guest I cried for her.😠She only demands respect and love and adi is giving her neither of those things. So it's better she ties a rakhi on his hand and moves out from his house.
More than Aditya , I'm more attached to Imlie at this point and I'm daring to hope she won't compromise with her self respect after finding out about Moon being her half sister.
