Hi friends back with new update.

Part 20

Raman reached Dr Shalini's house and went inside ,he rang the door bell and pushed it till the door got open . Raman looked at the person and found she was an elderly lady, he greeted her and asked for ishita . The lady told Raman to wait in the living room and went inside to call ishita . After waiting for about 10 minutes ishita showed up , Raman was doing something with his phone when he listened ishita's voice "Hello Mr bhalla , you wanted to meet me ."

Raman looked at ishita and cannot take his eyes from her ,he saw she was wearing a simple blue color cotton kurti and palazzo, which was his favorite color . She was already fair and was looking more fairer in this color, he noticed that she has gained much weight than last time which was again looking good on her . Earlier she was too thin and tiny but now she is okay , her face was bare without any makeup but she was looking ethereal in her natural beauty .Raman's eyes were still on her when she called him " Mr bhalla ,are you listening?".

Raman immediately moved his eyes from her and felt bit embarrassed, knowing that she had caught him checking her out , he ruffled his hair and spoke " umm ,I m here to take you along ."

I- (surprised)- what ?

R- yeah ,I want you to come with me .

I- why ?

R- because ishaan needs you ,he is so small ,how can you even leave him like that .

I- to kya main intzaar karti ,ki aap mere bachche ko mujhse lekar ,mujhe chale jaane ko kahte.

R- main aisa nahi karta , you know that .

I- how could I ,when it was clearly written in contract that I will not have any relationship with the baby and also we had already talked about it ,aapne saaf saaf kaha tha mujhe baby ko birth ke baad chodna hoga .

R- Haan to tumne bhi to contract sign kiya tha , agreeing with me then why you are blaming me alone .

I(meekly)- I m not blaming you , maine wahi Kiya jo mujhe karna tha .

R- bina ishaan ko dekhe , kaisi ma ho tum .

Ishita couldn't hold anymore and burst into tears ,Raman went closer to her but she stopped him and said angrily " aap itni door mujhse ye poochne aayein hain ".

R- no, maine kaha na ,I came here to take you along.

I- I too asked why ? Why do you want me to come with you aur kis haq se . Its already written in the contract that I don't have any right over him as a mother.Aap chale jaaiye Mr bhalla,I m not coming, its my punishment for selling my baby before birth .

R- no ishita don't say like that .

I- to aur kya bolun, yahi kiya hai maine ,I m very bad mother , bahut buri hoon main . Aap please jaao and take ishaan away from me.

R- ishita if you are a bad mother for selling your kid then I m also a bad father for buying my kid by money .

Ishita looked at him with confusion , thinking over the fact that, is he the same person with whom she has signed the contract . Earlier he was desperate to get the baby and today she was noticing same desperation in him for her . She was still thinking when she heard Raman , " ishita we both are bad father and mother separately but I want us to be good parents for ishaan ."

I- aap kya bol rahe ho ,I m not getting you .

R- at first you come with me , we will talk about it later .

I- but ...

R- ishita ,I have left ishaan with shanti Amma and her husband,main jyada der use akela nahi chodna chahta . So stop arguing and come with me .

I- aise kaise achanak bina bole ,I mean Dr shalini has given me shelter ,unko bina bole aise hi...

R- I will inform her ,you have ten minutes pack your bags and come soon.

Ishita opened her mouth to say something but Raman stopped her showing his palm and spoke

" no more arguments. "

Ishita felt defeated and went to her room to take her luggage. She came back within few minutes as her bag was left unpacked because she has arrived just a day before . Raman took the bag from ishita ,held her hand and walked out of the house while ishita was just looking at him and his actions . He hailed a cab and went to the farm house where shanti Amma was waiting for them ,yeah though Raman told them to go but they didn't went because shanti Amma was confident that Raman will bring ishita back . Soon ishra reached the farm house ,Raman came out of the car and told ishita to go inside while he will follow her after collecting her luggage . Raman went to took the luggage from car's Ricky but ishita didn't moved anywhere, she was still standing there as she was little reluctant to go and see ishaan ,she was also scared that this is not reality but her dream and once she will have a glance of her baby ,he will be vanish from her sight . She was excited as well as unsure, so she waited for Raman to come . He collected the luggage and was going when he noticed that ishita was standing ,he looked at her and asked

" arey ishita ,you are still here ,tum and andar nahi gayi ."

Ishita looked at him and spoke " Mr bhalla ,I m very much unsure ."

R- unsure ? Unsure about what ?

I- I mean we had that contract , I did as per it but you came and want me back . Mr bhalla ek baar maine bahut mushkil se apne dil par patthar rakh kar apne baby ko chodha par shayad dobara nahi kar paaungi ,thats why I want it to be clear , what is in your mind ? What will be my status in ishaan's life ,babysitter ,nanny or...

R- didn't you listened me earlier ?

I- what are you talking about ?

R- that you are coming with us as Ishaan's mother .you are and will remain ishaan's mother .

Ishita wanted to ask about their relationship but seems Raman was not ready to answer so she left the topic and followed him . They entered the house together and went to living room where shanti Amma was pacify crying ishaan . Ishita looked at Raman for permission, he signaled her to go ,she immediately ran to shanti Amma took ishaan from her and hugged him tightly, close to her heart while happy tears made way from eyes . As if the baby felt mother's warmth and got silent, ishita looked at shanti Amma and asked " ye ro kyun raha hai ,is he hungry ?".

SA- no I just had fed him ,shayad use pata chal gaya tha ki tum aa rahi ho .

I- aisa thodi na hota hai .

SA- hota hai kanna , baby can sense their mother and her warmth , dekh tere paas kitna shaant hai jabki wo tujhse pahli baar hi mil raha hai .

Ishita smiled fully and looked at ishaan , she kissed his temple lovingly then again hugged him closely and spoke " my baby " closing her eyes as if she was feeling immense peace while shanti Amma and Raman both got happy witnessing the scene . Raman walked to her and spoke " take him inside and make him sleep ,you too are looking too tired ,tum bhi rest karo , I will inform ma that we will come tomorrow. "

Ishita nodded and went towards her room , she lays ishaan in the bed itself and lay beside him . Till now ishaan was fast asleep but she didn't slept rather was admiring ishaan ,looking at him without blinking her eyes as if he will vanish, if she will close her eyes. She was still admiring ishaan when she heard " you can also rest ,no one is going to take him away from you ."

Ishita turned towards the door and found Raman entering, she quickly sat on her place and asked " Mr bhalla aap, koi baat thi ?".

R- nothing like that ,I just came to check on you two .

I- aaiye baithiye .

R- no you rest , I m going .

I- nahi nahi its ok ,I m not sleepy ,main to bas aise hi .. ,aap aao na .

Raman nodded and came towards them ,he sat and both together looked at ishaan then Raman asked " he is so beautiful, just like you ."

I- kuch bhi ,his eyebrows and nose is just like you .

R- but he had got your brown eyes and rosy lips .

I- Mr bhalla wo chota bachcha hai ,uske lips to pink honge hi na .

R- yeah ,but he has got it from you .

Ishita became nervous listening to him ,she didn't talk further, just kept staring at Ishaan while Raman said " I will always be thankful to you for giving the best gift of my life ."

Ishita smiled and said " its not needed ,agar main nahi hoti to koi aur hota ."

R- may be, then I would had thanked her but as its you so I m thanking you .

Ishita just smiled, then again both became silent again .Few minutes later ,Raman spoke again "ishita,I m sorry ."

She made a confused face and asked " sorry for what ?".

R- for everything,for trading for your helplessness, for making you stay away from your mother, forgot visiting you regularly and leaving you here alone when you needed me most .

Ishita got surprised listening to him because as per contract his behavior was understood, it was her who was wrong by falling in love with him . She shook her head negatively and said " isme sorry bolne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai , aapne to wahi Kiya, jo decided tha . Aap please mujhe sorry na bolein ."

R- ishita let me complete first and this time I will not force my decision on you .You are free to decide for yourself .

I- main samjhi nahi ,aap kya kah rahein hain?

R- umm ishita I wanted to say that .... umm how to say ...

Raman spoke bit hesitantly which made ishita curious ,she looked at him with questioning eyes ,waiting for him to continue . He thought for sometimes then said " ishita wo baat ye hai ki , earlier ,I was alone and you too were free , but now we have a baby together . So I was thinking that ..... umm I don't know how to say it , but main ye kah raha tha ki we should get married ,so that we both can take care of ishaan together. "

Ishita's eyes widened in shock ,she looked at him for sometimes as her words got stuck in her throat. Looking to her state Raman said " I just said this because I think its best for ishaan but if you are uncomfortable we can leave it ,I mean if you have other plans ."

Ishita got bit mad listening to this ,she glared him and said " Mr bhalla main maanti hoon sahi time par meri help karke aapne mujh par ehsaan kiya tha but iska matlab ye nahi ki aap mujhse kuch bhi kahenge. You want to me to marry you just because of ishaan , it sounds like you wanted a nanny for your son but unfortunately I m his mother too isliye aap mujhse shaadi kar rahein hain . "

Raman got startled listening to her as he hadn't thought that she will interpret his words like this , he quickly said " nahi nahi ,ishita tum mujhe galat samajh rahi ho ,I didn't mean that ."

I- nahi Mr bhalla ,main sahi kah rahin hoon ,aap rich log aise hi kahtein hai . Mr bhalla mere paas paise nahi hain but still I m a human being , meri bhi kuch feelings hain ,kuch sentiments hain. Theek hai us time mujhe paise ki bahut zaroorat thi isliye maine aapki....

Raman stopped her in mid and said " ishita meri baat to suno...

Ishita showed him palm and said " nahi is baar nahi , Mr bhalla is baar main boloongi aur aap sunege ."

R- nahi ishita ,Is baar bhi main hi bolunga aur tum meri sunogi ..

I- no I m not listening to you ...

Saying so ishita got up from her place and started walking away from him when Raman held her hand and pulled her towards him, she landed directly on his chest ,he locked her between his arms and said " when I told you to listen that means you should listen to me. "

Ishita struggled to get away from his hold but he held her firmly ,she tried for sometimes then stopped . Raman held her with his one hand then pushed the strand of hair from her face to have a clear view of her face, ishita closed her eyes feeling his touch . He noticed his effect on her and slide his hand in her hair ,her breath stopped feeling his touch while he pulled her closer and kissed her temple softly . Ishita became still while Raman said "I want you to marry for you,because I had started liking you . Bahut kosish ki tumhe avoid karne ki aur tumse door rahne ki but couldn't. Just brought ishaan in between because I don't wanted it to be awkward . I will not give any more clarifications , ofcourse the decision will be yours ."

Saying so he went out of the room ,leaving a confused ,happy,nervous and excited ishita behind .
