LOL these are exactly the kind of DHAKOSLE that Kesar was talking about in his rant😆....jinka koi logic nahin hota....society makes up rules per their convenience for whatever amount of "control" needs to be exerted on a woman's role in a family.

I still marvel over the fact that 99% of this show was about a woman assertively making her choices in every situation - whether she was right or wrong was a different matter....but she made her choices and no one acted like that wasn't even an option. Most stories these days don't know how to write that......and if they show a woman taking a stand, bas token stance hota hai and logon ko usmein se "woman power" feelz aa jaate hain even though it doesn't change any ground reality.....lol the stories still remain about the 100 different ways a woman can be forced into marriage and then magically fall in love with abusive pati😆.

And I also loved that there were actual men in this story who supported a woman's right to make her choices.....especially Gulaal's father supported her all the way till the very end....never allowed a single person to question his daughter's honor and was always willing to take her away if people demeaned her. This feels even more powerful to watch now given that every show on ITV now is an antithesis of that. Bas woh Saru Fui and psycho new Paanba wala track bakwaas tha but the rest was A+.

@ bold so much WORD to this!! The fact that the other characters were also developed so well , it was so much more satisfying to watch as a viewer.

The makers could have very easily used a shortcut for GK story, based on societal and family problems but they did not take that route. Like Gulaals dad not giving in even when the sarpanch said their hookah paani will be stopped, he was ready to leave the village and when he saw how Gulaal was treated after Dushyants reveal, he very firmly asked her to come with him. All this when his son was acting like a douche and the delicate situation because his DIL was Motabhas daughter!

I am just so happy they made Gulaal realize her love without going in for forced marriage track or any other external pressure!! This for me makes them so much more special☺️

Also as you said women were so much assertive in making their choices and we did not have that Dhadam Dhadam music and camera panning three times to make us realize the gravity of the situation😆 They just talked about all issues in a normal manner without making it life and death situation 😆

SM ko hi lelo....lol ek taraf log bolte hain Kusum is a progressive character, she supported her samdhan etc. etc....in the next breath, the same people salivate over a forced marriage in which a guy forcibly put sindoor on a woman to tie her to him cuz oh bechara he has "trauma" so now the woman should fall in line to heal him and feel attracted to him.....LOL

Doesn’t matter as long as there are HOT scenes , you can ignore the other issues😆 The discussions on the forum 😆 People were offended with forced marriage and KTs behaviour but one scene pulled them all righ in 🤣

Yes, Kesar was the only one who could bring back this Gulaal....Talli tried in her own little ways too but ultimately Gulaal still managed to more successfully dismiss Talli than she did Kesar.....Only Kesar was Gulaal ki takkar ka ziddi baccha that she couldn't manage to overrun....also, Kesar over time managed to perfect the art of playing a goof to coax smiles out of Gulaal....she could never hold out when he randomly challenged her on something or when he acted like a brat so that she would fall in to a comfort zone with him again.....Talli used to try to trick Gulaal or coax her emotionally to come out of her shell like she did with the aam ka bageecha epi.....but ultimately it was Kesar who managed to fully bring back the old Gulaal again I guess by virtue of the unique bond they shared. It was never really about the DV or the technicality of being pati-patni....it was always much more than that.

LOL yes, that Talli wala montage was a total eyesore cuz it was so awkward looking the way she had her arms around his neck in the background.....like a literal fandaa in his galaa while he turned to stare at Gulaal.....finally they did this meherbaani of changing the montage in the end even if it was very close to the end of the story.

But you can see the Talli obsession the writers had till the very end....lol har cheez mein usko ghusaana zaroori tha rather than building up more on GK interactions....faltu mein itna footage to Kunal-Talli ka relationship in the end....and random scenes of Talli taking ages to take off the blue kangans that Kesar gave her and FINALLY locking away those old things in a box....I'm still amazed that we got a Talli free final epi....warna last dance scene mein bhi GK ke beech mein ghusaa dete isko to do a typical trio scene of them.....lol.....matlab kahaan kahaan nahin ghusaya isko.....when GK were leaving the house, then also she was insisting on tagging along with them.

This is why I can never take this actress seriously.....mere dimaag mein yeh humesha chep Talli hi rahegi.

I forwarded all Kunal - Talli scenes, just watched the beginning bits and it was so infuriating that they took most of the screen space in the last phase😵 Waise Talli really did try to bring them together and she really cared for Gulaal, so I can love with that😆

Baaki initially makers ruined some GK scenes with Talli being kabaab mein haddi, walking around like a stalker and the number of times she went into Kesars room and touch his things even when he specifically told her not to, infuriates me. Sachme ekdam chep and bothersome thi 😆 She even took those letters that Kesar wrote for Gulaal and most probably read it😳😆

Thank God they left the house by themselves without her following around🙏

Best part was alia ko pata chal gaya ke uss lady ne poem chori ki hai ab kal uski class hogi but I couldn't help but laugh at that woman telling SD ke hameaha honesty rakho and Sacha se apna khid ka likho when he introduced himself as the new writer to her in office🤣 pehle khid toh honesty rakh lo madam ji

I liked yesterday’s episode todays was random, especially Sarang face timing with his friend scene🤔, it was annoying and stretched faltu ka 😆 They need to tone down that receptionist, bechari ko bada stereotype banaya hua hai.

I liked Alia telling Rabia and her dad to shut up and clearly told her dad that Veer ke liye darwaja hamesha ke liye bandh.

Todays episode , I liked the part with Manju and Alia scene. She might have gotten another chance but she clearly did not get what she was fired for in the first place!

Baaki chhota sa mom scene was good😆 She really lives upto her dream by getting out her filmy acting keeda😆 She just sprinkles Amitabh and Bansiwala references as per her convenience, pati ke samne everything is revolved around Bansiwala and bete ke saath Amitabh🤣

Funny thing to me is that when Harneet posted her tweet about champagne/popcorn DREAMY wedding, then these ppl were like whaa?!.....now they are all themselves ready with champagne/popcorn cuz post shaadi "hawt" scenes mil gaye hain chaahe "pheelings" aasmaan se tapki ho....who needs coherent progression as long as hawtness mil jaaye😆.

LOL yes, even I was fine when she was trying to get GK together and genuinely helped Kesar understand his mistakes....but then the makers dragged it on even when her shaadi track started showing her mooning over Kesar ke diye huye blue kangans and then the fact that she kept wearing her Kesar waali engagement ring for so long along with Kesar also wearing his was pretty WTF😆.....waise it was funny how quickly Kesar took off the ring when Talli told him ki yeh waali nerve dil se jaati hai🤣.

And then her asking to accompany GK when they were leaving the house was just too ridiculous even if she just wanted to support them.

Seriously though, her character was just shown too chep in everything....usko itna zabardasti nahin ghusaate har cheez mein toh she would have been more likeable as the bridge linking Kesar and Gulaal.

Now you know why I was wanting to kill her initially. Matlab expectation rakhna kisi se ek baat hoti hai and total despo hona and 24 ghante stalker banke ghoomna and apni hi delusion main rehna ek baatm she was just extra loser in that phase with having nothing else on her mind then kesar kesat kesar. Gulaal agar scene main na bhi hoti toh bhi she was next level of chep and I would still want to smack her. She had literally no self respect and chep hone ke saath saath her rona dhona everytime somebody told her to be in her limits was extra annoying ke agar mere mann ki na ho toh scene bana do ro do ke. Main hoti na toh kabki 2 chammatein laga chuki hoti isko😆

😆🤣 🍿 🍾 for yeh bakwaas where KT apparently doesn't like preeti either as such and avoiding her or hating her with the fake angst and she throwing uski ex biwi ki things and he getting all upset over it trying to stop her and apparently marrying her in the moment to show it to his ex that he moved on and using preeti. Oh how dreamy ... NOT. Meanwhile preeti gives bhashans on how their rishta cannot be understood by that ex wife and they play who will be on the bed 🙄 😴 yuck🤬🤢 kuch zyada hi high standard and quality hai. It was all feminism that time, how dare he just put sindoor in maang without permission , but now its ok , because chemistry 🤣 The thing is these so called hot scenes don’t work as there is just no sarpaav to the story. Thats what creeped me out, her stalkerish behavior after she decided to get GK together😆 I can never forgive her for ruining that handshake between GK, dosti wala and she just stands there in the doorway and Gulaal feels uncomfortable 😈 I just wanted to edit her out of that scene😆

Engagement ring was really , but I convinced myself that Kesar was so much immersed in Gulaal, he was just not bothered about any chhota mota stuff😆 His sole focus was Gulaal and nothing else penetrated his mind😆
