Word on what a passionate character Kesar was.....the level of earnest honesty in him is what made his passionate side more compelling beyond the typical tropes of angsty stories.

By the end of the story, you come to realize na why he was meant to be Gulaal's destiny....no one stood up to Gulaal like Kesar did....and no one stood up FOR Gulaal like Kesar did either....she finally comes to realize this during her lowest phase when the family she lived for her her whole life also abandons her and it is Kesar who stands up for her like no one else.

I don't remember it that clearly now but way back in the forum we also discussed how even the names of the three main characters had so much foreshadowing.....Gulaal and Kesar are both the names of colors....Gulaal is red....Kesar is Saffron and is used to give color and flavor to food.....Vasant is the name of a season (spring)....a season is meant to pass - it never lasts forever. Kesar was always meant to be Gulaal's soulmate and destiny.....Vasant was meant to be a season in her life that brought her to her higher purpose.

Yeah I noticed it and it is such a smart touch. One can see the show mattered to the makers by these intricate details they weren't just making a show to timepass

Lol I ended up seeing a scene from SM today 😆 and it is next level of lulz and nonsense 2 women fighting over whom KT ji loves and woh preeti giving itne bade bade bhashan on humara rishta is not since shaadi we have been in love since we became partners and tum kya samjho nonsense like seriously kitni BS bakte jaate hain ek dum meaningless BS 😆 while the other one is we will ignite the same passion and be on same bed after 17 yrs. Kis kisam ki halki conversations hoti hain and they call this family shows and family channels. Insinuate karna ek baat hoti hai but itni ghatiya tareeke se bakwaas karna 24x7 and people get feels out of it and find it epic

Decent episode of s9mk😆 Bahahah at bechara sarand wasging away pepper spray and his roommates all confused ke yeh chillu bhar paani main kyon door raha hai🤣 and co.ing up.with random reasons for him putting his head in paani ki baalti to wash away the spray.

Baaki alia ka dukhi sad story of past tha jahan she was crying and doobooing in self pity that she is unwanted and woh ravia was comforting her I liked the morning after scene better where ravia spilled truth tea to her father that even now je is bothered about finances and investments rather than his daughter i liked how alia left the room shutting them both up.

As expected office main mast goof up ho gaya hai 2 job IV's thay and then alia canceled writer wala last min and yeh bechara samjha yeh as a writer hi hire ho gaya 🤣 woh itna funny tha the office boy and the hiring employee both going hain logon ke office boy ko lekar bhi sapne hote hain😆

Best part was alia ko pata chal gaya ke uss lady ne poem chori ki hai ab kal uski class hogi but I couldn't help but laugh at that woman telling SD ke hameaha honesty rakho and Sacha se apna khid ka likho when he introduced himself as the new writer to her in office🤣 pehle khid toh honesty rakh lo madam ji

Came across this mansi ne iss bande ke saath kitna kaam kia hai😆 Sumit and Maya walia😆 but humare fav ships /co stars kabhi repeat nahi hote

Yes, that Ludo scene was adorable....Gulaal was always a BRAT😆....she just hid it better than Kesar 😆....especially after she got married. Lol, so much agree on Gulaal always being a brat😆 They both were ziddi and headstrong at the same level, na kam na zyaada😆

Her hyper competitive ziddi nature came out whenever she had a challenge in front of her and that's when you saw a whole other Gulaal come out who otherwise hides behind the facade of proper bahu.

Her smiles during this phase😳. It just made me realize the level to which she changed herself and went into a shell:( Kesar very slowly and surely got that Gulaal back.

Btw notice that even in Ludo, the color of pieces that Kesar picks is RED aka Gulaal😆....we used to marvel in the forum about whether these touches were deliberate or coincidental....given the attention to detail in the show otherwise, my bet is deliberate hi tha.....Kesar ka choice would always be Gulaal in everything😆.

I never thought about that! But it does seem deliberate, because the first thing Kesar says is I will take red , even before laying the board:) It was like that is undebatable, red is mine😆

This was also another one of those sweet scenes where Kesar finds a way to diffuse the tension and awkwardness by distracting Gulaal with a board game.....lol the moment he gave her something else to focus on other than the fact that she had to share a room with Kesar at night, she lightened up and started behaving normally with him....otherwise she was busy trying to curl up into a ball on the bed😆.

Lol at him asking her, tum puri raat aise hi some wali ho and she says no and goes to sleep uncomfortably 😆

We were also pleasantly surprised that they changed the montage in the last stretch....I still wish though that we could have had one of them smiling together😆

Oh it bothered me so much that they still had that montage of Gulaal in front and Kesar- Talli in the back for the longest time. ( I was like ab to shaadi tut gayi change the montage) They changed into this one like very close to the end😳 I loved loved this one☺️

A girl is told to fulfill every little desire of her after shaadi everytime she wants to do something she is told shaadi ke baad jahan marzi jaana jo marzi karna and then once they are married off they are told ab time is over and they should've done all this before marriage like excuse me kare toh kab kare?

LOL these are exactly the kind of DHAKOSLE that Kesar was talking about in his rant😆....jinka koi logic nahin hota....society makes up rules per their convenience for whatever amount of "control" needs to be exerted on a woman's role in a family.

I still marvel over the fact that 99% of this show was about a woman assertively making her choices in every situation - whether she was right or wrong was a different matter....but she made her choices and no one acted like that wasn't even an option. Most stories these days don't know how to write that......and if they show a woman taking a stand, bas token stance hota hai and logon ko usmein se "woman power" feelz aa jaate hain even though it doesn't change any ground reality.....lol the stories still remain about the 100 different ways a woman can be forced into marriage and then magically fall in love with abusive pati😆.

And I also loved that there were actual men in this story who supported a woman's right to make her choices.....especially Gulaal's father supported her all the way till the very end....never allowed a single person to question his daughter's honor and was always willing to take her away if people demeaned her. This feels even more powerful to watch now given that every show on ITV now is an antithesis of that. Bas woh Saru Fui and psycho new Paanba wala track bakwaas tha but the rest was A+.

SM ko hi lelo....lol ek taraf log bolte hain Kusum is a progressive character, she supported her samdhan etc. etc....in the next breath, the same people salivate over a forced marriage in which a guy forcibly put sindoor on a woman to tie her to him cuz oh bechara he has "trauma" so now the woman should fall in line to heal him and feel attracted to him.....LOL

Haha thanks! Yes, Kesar was the only one who could bring back this Gulaal....Talli tried in her own little ways too but ultimately Gulaal still managed to more successfully dismiss Talli than she did Kesar😆.....Only Kesar was Gulaal ki takkar ka ziddi baccha that she couldn't manage to overrun😆....also, Kesar over time managed to perfect the art of playing a goof to coax smiles out of Gulaal....she could never hold out when he randomly challenged her on something or when he acted like a brat so that she would fall in to a comfort zone with him again.....Talli used to try to trick Gulaal or coax her emotionally to come out of her shell like she did with the aam ka bageecha epi.....but ultimately it was Kesar who managed to fully bring back the old Gulaal again I guess by virtue of the unique bond they shared. It was never really about the DV or the technicality of being pati-patni....it was always much more than that.

LOL yes, that Talli wala montage was a total eyesore cuz it was so awkward looking the way she had her arms around his neck in the background😆.....like a literal fandaa in his galaa while he turned to stare at Gulaal.....finally they did this meherbaani of changing the montage in the end even if it was very close to the end of the story.

But you can see the Talli obsession the writers had till the very end....lol har cheez mein usko ghusaana zaroori tha rather than building up more on GK interactions....faltu mein itna footage to Kunal-Talli ka relationship in the end....and random scenes of Talli taking ages to take off the blue kangans that Kesar gave her and FINALLY locking away those old things in a box🤔😆....I'm still amazed that we got a Talli free final epi😆....warna last dance scene mein bhi GK ke beech mein ghusaa dete isko to do a typical trio scene of them.....lol.....matlab kahaan kahaan nahin ghusaya isko.....when GK were leaving the house, then also she was insisting on tagging along with them😆.

This is why I can never take this actress seriously.....mere dimaag mein yeh humesha chep Talli hi rahegi😆.

LOL humara bad luck hi kharaab hai😆.....our fav. duos never reunite to work together again😆. But yeah, I guess Manasi and this guy got more chances to work together so they continued on.
