About why veer said that, well frankly speaking, why would he believe her? The son in him did not believe his mother can be evil, but the husband in him gave a fair chance to his wife as well to prove whatever point she had. Fair enough.

The emotional bonding between the couples has been a major reason why the previous seasons were so popular, even Dev & Brinda had stronger emotional connection than VAni. Bani sees Veer primarily as a Cheel, and her ego won't let her accept that she doesn't hate him. She just goes back & forth, and flips according to the situation. I'm sorry but I can't justify VAni anymore.I agree! Bani is an appalling written character ever! She's the only reason for downfall of Naagin 5!
