Is being grey is same as being criminal

Hi i this is my first individual post in this forum. I have been a silent reader majority of the time here and don't really post anything anywhere except the joint FF BROKEN i write with a forum friend Abhyudaya and her other FF Ajanbi. Majority of you must already know her one of the amazing and wonderful writers of the forum. So as i said i have been a silent reader i couldn't help myself but make this post now.

Many of the forum members have been complaining and saying Vansh has been white washed or Vansh has been turned into saint. This discussion and cry has been there for quite sometime now but specially after today's episode it has increased and is bound to increase in future as well. So my question is does Vansh needs to be a criminal and mafia to be a grey character?

I understand people want the old Vansh who is smart, intelligent, shrewd, astute and mastermind a player. Even i want that but do he really need to be a mafia or a a criminal to be all those things. Can't he be all that without being a criminal. People are complaining he has been whitewashed but has he really been? It is Ishq Mein Marjaawan guys where nothing and no one is as they have been presented. Continuously it has been said by the actors to trust no one kab kaun flip marega you never know. In that case even Kabir was presented as honest cop and a loving boyfriend but then we know the reality. In other words a mafia might not be a mafia and a honest looking cop might not be honest. Villain might not be villain and hero might not hero. A villain might be a hero and hero might be a villain.

Then there is Vansh and Vihaan thing going on. Personally i think Vihaan is none other then Vansh why in initial interviews writers and producers had clearly mentioned Vansh is their trump card and will bring twist and change the game through out the show. Mamta mam herself claimed Vansh as her favorite character. Now would they really kill of their golden goose just like that? What is anti-hero or grey character? Someone who has qualities of both a hero and villain, positive traits as well as negative once.

I'll give you some examples of few characters that fall in that category without being a criminal. They did some really not so likable stuff but had good side as well

1. DD Patel Jamai Raja

2. Manik Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan

3. RK Madhubala

These are some characters who are grey can't Vansh be like that? Initially even I thought him to be mafia dude though always felt Neha's death to be an accident remember during KaVa confrontation after that Vansh did said to Kabir How will Kabir prove him guilty in court? it is possible Neha's death was an accident there you go there was an hint given even then it's up to us what we believe. I started having doubts after Riansh marriage owing multiple incidents and his character and after Anubir revelation didn't had any doubts that Vansh is not a mafia.

Though I still think something is going on in the background which is hidden and we are not able to see it. Vansh is no fool and neither is he a saint he is playing. How? don't know we'll get to know in future. At the moment it might seem he is dead and makers and everyone in the show will make all efforts to convince us otherwise and Vihaan is the new guy and lead. Another reason to believe it Vihaan is Vansh only. If not he cannot live with someone else's identity all his life.

There is so much i want to say but the post is already too long. If you managed to finish it from starting to the end please do leave your thoughts will like to read them. 😆

A person can be grey even without murdering someone. We have seen his a glimpse of the same in the form of when he terrorized Riddhu, partially paralyzed her, forcefully married her and his traps as well. Not to forget the illegal business which was shown in the first episode as well .

Even I feel alot is yet to happen and the new track is just unfolding now. Lets wait and watch😊

I totally agree with you, a character can still be grey without murdering someone (here it means black for me) or being a mafia/don/criminal but here people were expecting a love story between a mafia and a spy which cvs showed a glimpse of

There are many characters of vansh which makes him grey, he need not kill or be a mafia to be that.

The thing is cvs ne humko vansh mafia ka lollypop dekar ullu banaya that's why some fans are agitated that's it😆

As I have already said in another post, a character need not be a ruthless criminal or a murderer to be grey........ They are two different things. And about whether Vansh being a mafia or not, It's not yet stated clearly though we are shown few scenes of his illegal dealings 2-3 times. Every business has some or the other dark dealings within.

Also agree with the part where we all want the shrewd and calculative Vansh back.... But he is a human being afterall😆 so makers gave us his loving, passionate and emotional side who fell for Ridhhima despite knowing she is a spy.

I still have a flickering hope that Vihaan is Vansh only, his another side.

Though I really don't want CVS to kill off his character permanently and at least maintain his mafia side as they promised during the beginning of the show.

That's the thing even Kabir was introduced as a positive and nice guy. Honest and brave cop and here we woh kya hai now everyone knows. So why they want Vansh to be a criminal can't he have that aura and yet not cross the line of law. And if they wanted a mafia and a spy love story then they are watching a wrong or rather having wrong expectations here. It was never that it was always a love story with a twist (rather a lot of twists).😆

Thank you and you are right it is still not clear about him being Mafia or not and every business has some dark dealings. Personally I never wanted him to be one otherwise Riansh ship dubne ka khatra aur badh jayega (considering we don't know how things shape up in the future)😆.

Agree he is human being and can't be in one mood all the time. He has other sides as well so never minded his emotional, passionate, sweet and loving side.

They shouldn't because it doesn't make any sense to build a character and couple then chuk it off. If that was the case they could have done it Ridhbir way ek hi episode mein love story shuru aur khatam.😆 They didn't needed people to get attached with Vansh's character and Riansh.

Wahi toh kahin toh had se jyada expectation hai aur kahin hai hi nahin.

Even Riddhima is going to flip sabse badi palti yahi maregi dekha sabse badi gadhi hi sabse shandi niklegi😆
