Women are always subjected to judgement

I just wanna understand y r women always subjected to torture.

If she wants to move ahead in life she is rebuked and said that she doesnt respect her family and is being modern.

If she is a housewife then she doesn't deserve respect as she is financially dependent on her husband and is considered useless.

Y is it so difficult for women to do what they want.

It is not really difficult for a woman to do what they want in this era... she needs to put herself before her family but normally they don’t mainly after having kids...

it’s the same with men too.. they put their family first before themselves..

I think after having kids .. normally both parents think about their kids needs only and forgot about themselves..

in this serial.. viraj is just a bad apple... wife (even housewives) or husband cheat in real world..

Because these shows continuously enforce the idea of ownsership and the backward TRP aunties think this is how women should be

Father owns daughter

Brother own sister

Husband owns wife

Inlaws own DIL

= continued respect for everyone but the woman

This concept of ownership and passing it to inlaws once a woman is married is what has destroyed women’s rights in India

until women realize they own themselves and have a right over their own life...things won’t change

I may put off many people by saying this but partly it is Anupama fault

When you put up with abuse for more than two and half decades it is partly her fault too. In a relationship no matter what one must place respect as a criterion.

Could she not have drawn atleast minimal lines ??

When Toshu crosses a line she must cut him off

I can understand the respect and care for in-laws but when it goes beyond a line one must stand up.

So long she felt there was love she was quiet now that she feels he cheated she is standing up for herself

Good for herself never late to stand up

But love should never be the reason for not standing up for oneself ..

When there is no respect care and mutual trust the relationship slowly becomes toxic

I actually agree with you .!

There should be a line ..till this and no further.

But women are always expected to let go and bear.

Also women who are not educated or financially independent have pressure to keep the relationship going as they have nowhere to go .

But its good atleast now she is standing up for herself.

Because some in law think women as their own property not Human being that is why women are not allow to do what they want

And also they think ki wife/ bahu hamaare aasre reh rahi hai to hamare hi hisaab se hi chalna hoga. Apni man mani nahi chalegi

Jub apne upar apne naam ki chat nahi hoti to log aisi hi sir pe chadte hain

Isliye yeh Rule bana ki house name mein wife ka joint registry hogi taaki log wife ka freedom na cheen sake
