The fact that he immediately patched up with Nikki and made her regret sleeping was a good move. He saw how she messed up Nishant's captaincy and can be constant thorn if she wants to. He obviously has the advantage of seeing all this on the outside and developing a strategy with Rahul ( he knows he is popular outside) while keeping Eijaz, Pav at bay so that they dont oppose him. The way they let this newbie with an obvious advantage win captaincy is pathetic. I actually miss VG's Season 11 plotting and strategic planning now!
