who is mukku here?

who is mukku?? didn't malhar have a son but here mukku is a girl. really confused. someone help (have not seen the serial since the leap happened so confused)

and was kalyani ever pregnant?? looks like i missed very much

Mukku is Moksh but Aparna kidnapped him and diguised him as a girl so that nobody ever recognises him to take revenge from Kalyani.

Kalyani and Malhar don't know yet Mukku is a boy and indeed their own son Moksh.

Kalyani was pregnant with Malhar and Sampada's child in the surrogacy track when she did the IVF to save Moksh when he needed a bone marrow transplant because of a illness which would have been possible with a biological sibling. It was a high risk pregnancy and Malhar had to get the child aborted to save Kalyani but in the end Moksh received a bone marrow from a donor Trilok thus was saved.

Then Trilok kidnapped Moksh and he got presumed dead in a car blast but recently only kalma got to know Moksh is alive and are searching him but don't know yet Mukku is their Moksh.

Moksh went lost pre leap he was supposedly dead

He after one year due to circumstances was found by sampadas mother Aparna

She was all alone and was not in good terms with any of her relatives

She kept the kid with her as a source of both income and to get the satisfaction of taking out her anger towards kalma

She was afraid that someone may recognise the kid

Hence the boy has been told to pretend like a girl and live like a girl until she could get away from the vicinity of kalma

The kid has been told that there is some danger or like that due to which aparana ( whom he calls as amma) will be killed by someone if anyone comes to know mukku is a boy not a girl

Hence the kid also fearing that he may loose his only living relative will die pretends to be a girl infront of all

So basically mukku ( though actress is a girl it is not the first time in itv that a girl plays a boy ) is moksh

Kalyani did ivf to have baby so that the kid can be used as a bone marrow doner for moksh as preleap moksh had some marrow cancer like disease

Malhar was not ready to naturally have a kid with samapda as he can't touch anu woman other than kalyani

Sampada also had issues related to first pregnancy is infertile now and can't carry a baby

Malhar opted for ivf without knowing sampus condition ( sampada purposefully hid it so that she had a chance to get back into life of Malhar)

She arranged a surrogate who will take the baby and she pretented it is in her womb

Kallu accidentally discovere the same and since surrogate sampu chose was medically unfit she swapped herself with surrogate in procedure

But she due to blackmail said she was raped by rachit and the kid is rachits

All other than Malhar and anu disowned her and wanted the child dead

.Malhar supported her and allowed her to keep the child

Later on she had to tell everyone the truth that kid is malhars all were relieved

But issue was that kalyani had some complications as the procedure was not so smooth

So within few days after procedure Malhar had to abort the child without kalyanis consent as she was critical and if she carried the child further she won't survive till delivery

So the kid was aborted

The kid was of few days only

And mukku is moksh only who was 1.5 years when he was supposedly dead

A girl artist was choosen due to acting skills and her close resemblance with arzaan who played little moksh

So once revealed they will show the girl as a boy with makeup and wigs
