Why are bollywood actors so handsome compared to South indian stars??? - Page 4

In south, audience appreciates talent and not shallow things like looks and grooming.

OK before they were some handsome and highly educated stars that is mostly 70s and 80s

Even now many heros are educated at least degree or BE etc

now nepotism has destroyed looks in south stars all star sons not good looking at all

But south audience does not look at grooming and looks or dress in heroes atleast

Even heroines highly successful ones usually are all dressed up unlike hindi movie ones that expose rather than act

I don't know with whom I need to compare Surya-45(Tamil: Nepotism)& Rana-35(Telugu: Nepotism) to but they both are quite attractive.

Jr.NTR (Telugu: Nepotism) is not that good looking.

We can compare all the Bollywood celebs to not so good looking grandpas, who no longer are that much in the business, like Balakrishna(Telugu), Chiranjeevi(Telugu), and Mohanlal (Malayalam).

Why do we keep comparing Bollywood to the regional industries like Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam and not the regional industries like Bihari, Bengali, and Gujarati! The south industry did work hard and made itself worth being comparable to the most understood language, Hindi, in the country. Tamil is a different language, Telugu is a different language and Malayalam is a different language but they expanded their business in the neighborhood states down the south and now in the North too. Even the Kannada film industry is now trying to spread its wings. These industries are quite commendable.

I like to add that the Tamil industry doesn't shy away from representing dark-skinned people, unlike other industries. So, kudos to them.

But all these actors are late 60s why compare them to young 30 and 40 age stars and say they looking like uncle

Most of them are already grandfathers no although they are heroes now too

They are heroes of 70s and 80s before we were born so compare them to jeetendra, mithun,a nil kapoor not to shahid, ranbir tiger shroff

If you want to compare tiger, ranbir i have uploaded some good looking heroes south movies you must compare to them. Soutrh stars look better personality wise compared to todays bollywood hheroes except a hrithik may be

That is true atleast south movies have some stories in movies

Compared to Bollywood majority movies south majority movies have a good story (dubbed ones i watched few on TV)

Especially in 90s and till 2008 south movies content much superior to bollywood movies by all angles

Even today the percentage of movies with good content better in south compared to bollywood (most bollywood movies steal or copy story all salman movies are south he must than south from 10 flops they made him super star, even movie like darr already similar movie in south before darr released only)

Even music better in south than bollywood

May be the tension of carrying a 200 crore movie on shoulder makes him ignore looks

That happens after success usually ppl do not concentrate on looks so much in south atleast

Even heroines do not you must see some 1990s and 2000s movies of south heroines had no grroming at all they would just come in simple sarees 200-300 Rs saree and act on screen. No one bothered that time about dresses and grooming. I think kushbu started wearing modern frocks etc first on screen in 1990s else i have not seen 90s heroines anyone dressing in modern clothing in many movies be it telugu, tamil, kannada or malyalam too. Even chudidhar no one put in 1990s on screen majority times it was saree only

Depends what u consider good looking

fair clean shaven guy with muscles = good looking ? That’s a very limited view then

Also kinda moot to bring in actual uncles like mammoty, chiranjeevi, rajnikanth etc and say they look like uncles..well duh they are 60+ what do u think they are lol?
mamotty actually looks amazing for someone almost 70

The young guys like dulquer, Rana, Nivin Pauly, vijay d, allu arjun are all attractive in their own way...their talent adds to the attraction like when allu arjun dances he gets 10* hotter

Prabhas is actually really good looking in a massy rugged way except he’s past his prime now...his face dosent look as fit but in his prime, his swagger onscreen was very attractive

I am aware of KGF guy. I don't find him that good looking. In Malyalam too I don't understand the hype around Dulqeer Salmaan. But they are not ugly either.

OK i think rajnikant is more about style than acting the mass hero
