He already said in one of the episodes that he wants to be in Rubina and Jasmins good books as they are strong competitors. I don’t understand his logic for this but i think that’s why he saved Jasmin. Ask he started getting on with Jasmin recently so took advantage of the opportunity to strengthen the bond. So option #2 for me
